The 30th Day of Christmas -- and a tutorial

“Day 29 of the Technique Junkies 30 Days of Christmas”

Hello friends!
Giovana here today on Day 29 of Technique Junkies 30 Days of Christmas!! 

For this project I used Seasons Greeting Set of 6.

Super simple and easy to mass produce.

Details:

Cut a piece of white cardstock 3.75" x 5"

Stamp Sentiment in red ink.

Stamp Pine bough in green and light brown ink around all edges.

Blend Tea ink on all edges.

Cut a couple of thin stripes of red metallic cardstock and adhere them to panel.

Embellish with white Nuvo drops.

Day 28 of Technique Junkies 30 Days of Christmas

I've been having fun with the 25 Days of Christmas Tags ... so today I'm combining that inspiration with the 30 Days of Christmas at Technique Junkies.

I started with a tag inspired by this lovely tag by Tracey McNeely's Tag from Day 12.  I liked the stamped background and the contrast of the red with the neutral background.

For my reindeer background, I used Reindeer Names stamped in red on ivory cardstock. and then die cut it with a Tag Die.

The tiny sentiment is from a set called Santa Says.  Instead of gold cord, I used gold ribbon to tie a bow around the red ribbon.

For the second tag, I took my inspiration from this lovely tag from Day 11 by talented Tracey.

I stamped the smaller poinsettia from Technique Junkies Poinsettias (set of 4) three times in red ink on white cardstock. Then I detail cut each flower and attached them to the top of my tag.  Since I didn't color my blooms, I used a red tag to get similar contrast to my inspiration tag.

I added a sentiment from Technique Junkies Victorian Greetings and a few white enamel dots.

I love making Pop Up Boxes.  They add a touch of surprise to the recipient when they open this collapseable card.   

My sentiment is called Happy in my Holidays.  I work with a girl who wanted this sentiment on this card that I made for her boyfriend.

The sides of my card are decorated with the Poinsettias stamp.

Day 25 of the 30 Days of Christmas

Hello!  Lynda Joy here, with some Christmas cheer for Day 25 of the Technique Junkies 30 Days of Christmas.  

My card today features the Perfect Blend SD9062 stamp....

I simply stamped the image onto recycled bristol vellum card stock, and colored it with Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils.  

I added some chalk pastel with a makeup cotton ball to the background, and some shimmer in and around the mug with watered down Perfect Pearls.
