3 Shadow Oxide Wildflower Card & Kit You have to try this! The new Wildflower Border stamp from the April release is delicate and beautiful! It is one of my favorites from this release, and I am VERY excited to share what I did with it! The 3 Shadow Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, colored with blended Distress Oxide Inks, is a great backdrop for the stamp. Not only that, but you can use the same inks to color the stamp, too! I actually put together two kits for this tutorial -- one with the inks included and one without the ink, since some of the colors here were used in previous kits. Big and Pollack

For the sentiment, I used:

How I created these cards:

1. I stamped the Pollack background using various colors of Catherine Pooler inks. 

2. I die cut that panel using a rounded corner die from my stash.

4. I stamped the TJ sentiment using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and die cut the sentiment using either a die from my stash or the Tim Holtz Deckle Edge Trimer. I then used matching ink to ink the sides. 

5. I popped the sentiment up using foam tape.

6. I mounted the panel on to an A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").

Grow with Love

Today’s card is perfect for spring.  Fresh green and pink colours were used to create my 3-D card.  The background paper is not designer paper.  It is a background stamp called Garden Party, which was coloured with pencil crayons.  Grow with Love focal point was placed into my Misti (what tool do you use?) and each word on my stamp was watercoloured with watercolour markers.  I huffed on the colour to reactivate the colour, and pressed down, repeating the process two or three times more.

Added to this card is one of my handmade flowers and leaves.

Increasing in Value

 Hi there!

 Hi there! 

It's my day to post on the Technique Junkies Design blog.  

I have a pretty card to share today, using the 'S882 Spring Flowers' background stamp. What a lovely stamp this is to work with - just look at all of the details! This card also features a new release sentiment 'SDX182 Increasing in Value'.

The image was stamped first on a white cardstock panel. I used 'A Colorful Life Cloud Edger Stencil' to create a bit of sky prior to coloring the panel. All coloring was done with Copic markers. The image was actually stamped on both the focal panel, and again on another panel. Each panel was colored, then  I fussy cut the larger flowers and popped them up over top of the first stamped image. Once the card was completed, I used Glossy Accents on the larger flowers, then stamped, matted, and adhered the sentiment to the card front.
