Small Packages

I love to have Baby cards on hand for those special moments! Since I am going to be a Grandma in June, this is top-o-mind for me now. Today's card uses the Small Packages stamp with a Herringbone-style, washi tape background. Stamp is here:

Fiery Zen Edges

Good morning, Junkies!  It's Holly posting today.  I had a lot of fun creating today's card using new stamps from Technique Junkies.  The new Zen Edges is a boldly drawn abstract stamp set and you can do almost anything you can envision with these stamps.  There are two stamps in this set and you can mix and match and come up with all kinds of combos.

For today's card, I used just one of the Zen Edges stamps - this one has two leaves sticking off to one side.  I stamped this near the top of a white cardstock panel, turned the stamp around, and stamped it again near the bottom of the panel.

While this was drying, I stamped the I Believe In You with Versamark ink onto some black cardstock.  I covered this with white embossing powder, tapped off the excess powder, and then heated the sentiment with a heat tool to melt the powder.  I set this aside to cool off and returned to my Zen Edges panel.

I picked out some yellow, orange, and red ink pads and some Colorful Blending Brushes and set about coloring the Zen Edges panel.  I started by brushing some yellow ink over the stamped Zen Edges, and then I added some orange ink to the middle areas.  Finally, I added just a touch of red ink to the center of the zen flower petals.

I adhered this colored Zen Edges panel to a black card base and glued the sentiment to the center of the panel.  I love how this turned out with the stamped images offset and ink blended with those fiery hues.

Please enjoy using this code, TJ10Holly, when you shop at Technique Junkies.  You can pick up these Zen Edges and this sentiment, I Believe in You, as well as many other stamps.  Have a wonderful day!

Play in the Puddles!

Rainy, rainy March...or rather, here, it has been snowy March! Today's card celebrates the puddles from the rain, though, using the Play in the Puddles stamp with the Rain Splash background. Go play in the puddles!

Zen Edges

Hi friends!

Today, I am sharing a card that I made, using a beautiful new stamp from the March release

Do you like Zen? Then you will love this set!

Today, I chose to work with Zen Edges a two part stamp, and I Believe in You. I think it made a pretty card! Stop back by here on the 31st and see my 'non-card' project that I made with this stamp set!

Here's what I made:

The image was stamped on white cardstock in black ink, and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment was stamped in the center, and edged at top and bottom with narrow gold metallic Washi Tape. The focal panel was adhered to a piece of patterned paper, and mounted onto a white card base. Very easy, and eye catching!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Family is Everything

On this hump day, already in the middle of March, I am showcasing the new sentiment, Family is Everything. The first two cards, I stamped the new and wonderful Slimline Elephant Family. On the first card, I stamped it in black and flicked watercolors in blue, green, and yellow. Matted with yellow card stock and on a white card base.

The second card I stamped the image in bright pink, put a large pink mat and distressed the edges with the black ink pad.

My last creation I used the Row Of Birds which I stamped in black on watercolor paper and watercolored the sweet birds. I then flicked different colors with a brush. Some fun brads for interest.

All about the Birds

It is Tuesday and I am showcasing birds from our release this month. My first card uses Small Packages. I made the background on textured paper and I dragged it through the yellow, pink and purple. Super quick and simple. Matted on black and on a white card base.

My second card, I used the Japanese Cranes that I stamped on a white card base and colored in a bit with Zig watercolor brush markers. A piece of T.H. designer paper and both matted with black and a piece of burlap for interest.

Come and check out the wonderful new stamp release this month at Technique Junkies and use my code TJ10Pam. There is something for everyone!
