Welcome

Hello Friends!

Today, I am sharing a pretty home decor item that I made, using beautiful new stamps, Zen Edges and Welcome, from the March release. 

Today, I chose to make a piece to put into a photo frame. 

I stamped the image and sentiment onto a piece of patterned paper, and edged the sentiment with narrow gold Washi Tape. I ahered a strip of a pretty gold tissue type paper at the top and bottom edges of the focal panel, added some sequins, and framed the finished piece.

I think this will look pretty in my entryway!

Sympathy…Those We Love

Happy Wednesday! Today I am showcasing two cards with the lovely Those We Love. It is such a beautiful floral image with the sentiment attached. The first card I used a piece of T.H. Dp and stamped the image directly on it. Using some chunky gold glitter, I covered the leaves and the flower was colored in pink with a Zig marker. Some raffia as an accent, a black mat and on a white card base.

My second card I stamped on a piece of rouge card stone and using a glitter pen colored the flower..it was matted on a piece of gold card stock. The next layer was gelli plate print laying on my desk. Hard to tell here, but matted with burgundy card stock and on a white card base.

Deepest Sympathy

 

I used Big Cracks for the background.  I  wanted it to look like porcelain or marble so I kept turning my card stock and changing ink colors to create the look I wanted.    Then  I stamped Praying Hands and colored them with Copic markers ad fussy cut them out and raised them with foam dimensionals.  The verse  comes comes from the With Sympathy set.  It is heat embossed on colored vellum and attached with Xyron adhesive.

Those We Love

Good morning, Junkies, it's Holly posting today.  Today I'm sharing this beautiful stamp from Technique Junkies called Those We Love.  This is perfect for those moments when you need a sympathy card.  I stamped this with black Memento ink, let it dry, and then loosely colored with the flower with Copic markers.  It looks I watercolored this flower, doesn't it?
