The Best of my Life

 I love this simple line image with the wonderful sentiment from our new The Best of My Life stamp. The stamp is 15% off through July 8th, as part of our July stamp release (link below). Blooming dandelion day!

Hi there! Technique Junkies doesn't disappoint! The stamps this month are so fabulous as you will see every day on all of our social media.

You have 2 more days to take 15% off the new releases and the remainder of your order, you can use my I am showcasing this gorgeous Blooming Dandelion stamp paired with the sentiment Its Own Beauty. For this creation, I tried to step out of my comfort zone and do a telescoping card. I am happy with how it turned out. The image was colored with Zig watercolor brush pens and I used stitched rectangle die cuts in 4 sizes with dimensionals to get my telescopic look. The sentiment is on dimensional tape as well. A random piece of designer paper and mounted on a piece of white card stock base...boom, we'll call it done!

I cut the different strips of paper and clued them onto cardstock.

In-between each is a bit of bakers string glued on

then all trimmed and layered

This new saying is embossed, then layered several times then 

popped up.

Made this card using the new Field Flowers stamp

and the sentiment from Difficult time

added a few small butterflies - some gold embossing powder on the edges

Then all around the card with the Nuvo Aqua Shimmer(and on the Butterflies)

A Floral Birthday Wish

 

The background was created with an embossing folder that I found to have an interesting texture to it.  I used a dense round sponge to apply dye based  ink to the raised areas.   

The flowers are from the stamp A Best Friend.  I cut the verse off so I had two stamps instead of one.  The flowers were colored with my Copic markers.  The verse at the bottom is from the stamp set Dear Friend. The font is beautiful  and the set  has several terrific greetings.  I fussing cut around th words, and fussy trimmed the black layering card stock.

Tropical Notecard Set

 

Good morning!  It's Holly posting today and I've created a fun set of notecards with a tropical theme to share with you today.  I pulled out some bright colors of cardstock and cut and folded them to A2 size cards.  Then I pulled out the great new Tropical Corners stamp set from Technique Junkies and mixed and matched the corners so they were all different on each card.

For the sentiments, I used the My Dear Friend set (also from Technique Junkies).  On the two vertical cards (pink and green), I masked off part of the sentiments so I could stamp the other half slightly below the first half.  Then I added some fun sequins on all the cards for that extra sparkle.

Field Flowers are where it's at!

I colored this one using a quick application of Copics, but this stamp works great with colored pencils, regular markers and glitter markers, too. Pat Huntoon
