TJ Inkspiration: Inked Watercolor Poinsettia Christmas Card

 

Watercolor with Ink! Our classic, dimensional Christmas card this week is richly colored with watercolored ink. Good day! I hope this finds everyone well! It is almost Halloween!

Today I am showcasing a sentiment from the Scripted Sentiments, set of 6. I LOVE them! I paired it with the gorgeous, previously released Snow Covered Pines. I used a pinkish red ink and the sentiment is popped up on dimensionals.

Next - I stamped this saying onto some alcohol ink paper I had done awhile back.  Stamped with staz on ink then layered and added the gold christmas tree die cut.

  Last one is a quickie !!

Warm Winter Wishes

 

I stamped Snow Covered Pines on white card stock.  I stamped the greeting from the set Scripted Holidays.  I wanted it heat embossed in the same green as the trees.  But I used a dye based ink - not very heat embossable because it dries too quickly.  Here is how to do it.  I inked up stamped with Versamark ink. I stamped on a scrap of white card stock placed in my stamping platform. Then I inked the same stamp with the green ink making sure I had full coverage.  I cleaned the stamp and reinked it with Versamark, and then heat embossed it with detail clear embossing powder.  I spritzed Dazzle Shimmering Bliss Topper all over to create the image of shimmering snow.
