Golden Leaves

 The new Technique Junkies Overlapping Leaves stamp is so beautiful! Today I colored it with Copic markers, then sprayed it with the Aladine IZINK Goldmine Dye Ink Spray. The sentiment is from the Beautiful Trees Set. This card is a great reminder of the beauty of fall.

Beautiful Trees and Overlapping Leaves

Hello everyone and happy Saturday!  Today I have two quick cards for you that I made using Overlapping Leaves and 2 of the sentiments from Beautiful Trees, Set of 6.  Both of these stamps are perfect to use together as they complement each other.  

• I made 2 top-folding A2 card bases and adhered a piece of green(ish) cardstock to the front.  
• I die-cut 2 pieces of white cardstock using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die and adhered them to the inside of each card for a message.
• I stamped Overlapping Leaves on a piece of distressed paper, die-cut them using a stitched rectangle die, layered them on a piece of black cardstock and then to the card front. 
• For my sentiments - I stamped 2 of the sentiments from Beautiful Trees, Set of 6, die cut them using a stitched die, layered them on black cardstock, and then to the card front. 

I love the distressed cardstock look between the leaves.  You can also distress your own cardstock using Distress Inks and a water bottle, then stamp the Overlapping Leaves.

Layered Birthday Party Let's Party! Today we are using a three-piece stencil set to create multiple fun birthday cards. All of the cards use ink blending; some use Aladine IZINK Pearly Diamonds for a gorgeous iridescence. Not So Scary Ghosties

 This new Halloween Paintstroke stamp was just what I needed for these fun ghosts and bats from the older Best Witches set.  I stamped the sentiment first, then added the creatures and some doodled dots as a background.  I outlined the creatures with a light grey marker which adds some depth.  I also colored the ghosts eyes red, although they are still too cute to be scary! A Birthday with Dragonflies

Today I am sharing a birthday creation with Simple Sentiments 1a

And the Dragonfly Collage. The main image was stamped on acetate in stazon and die cut. I also painted with acrylic on piece of heavy card stock and die cut to match. Layered on a fun piece of designer paper and I call it done!

(every time I read it I get that song stuck in my head - but that was Whoomp there it is LOL)

I used some scrap paper for the back design - splattered with some gold from my Pesca pen - then layered all together

Next up is another I made using the Overlapping leaves background 

With this one I embossed on some wordy paper and fussy cut out one leaf

Layered on top of the embossed background

Thought this was more of a masculine looking card - would be great for birthday wishes
