Try That Bleach Swipes

Copic Texturizing

Hi, Junkies, Donna here!

I realized at the last second that I couldn't post the card I planned to share with you today because I made it for a swap, and the recipients haven't seen it yet. I know some of them read this blog so we'll just have to wait on that one.

So instead, I'll share this card I made awhile ago using the Copic Texturizing technique featured in the April/May 2011 newsletter. I used an old washcloth to create a fur texture that's perfect for my bear and for lots of other animals, too.

The stamps used here are from Starving Artistamps, and the papers are from Basic Grey.

Faux Tooled Leather and a Cowboy

Kathie McGuire here today to share a technique I've grown to LUV! Faux Tooled Leather from the 10/04 newsletter AND from the Emboss or Die CD!

Without a doubt, this will be the background I'll default to for practically every western themed card I do--forever! It's so fast and easy and I'm amazed at the reactions I get from people who see the cards showcasing this technique. It's a big WOW every time!
