Pulled Color with Ann

Here I am......just a little late in getting my Saturday post!  Sometimes when I make a background, I think it is so pretty that I just hate to cover it up.  The Pulled Color technique ends up just like that.  So I choose something narrow to let a lot of the BG show through!  I've had this stamp set for 8 months and it hadn't seen ink yet!  Hope you enjoy!

Holly Brown: Watercolor Distress Cottage Mouse

Hi Junkies!  It's Holly posting, and I'm sharing this adorable Cottage Mouse card with y'all today.  I created the background by using the Watercolor Distress technique first and I let that dry completely.  Then I used the Cuttlebug Highlights technique with that piece, doing a very very subtle highlighting with a brown ink.

Collage Strips

Hello.  This is Beth Norman with a holiday card for you.  One of my favourite images, from I Brake for Stamps, was used to create the Collage Strips technique  The image was stamped onto watercolour paper and watercoloured with Tombow markers.  This technique is from the August issue and is a quick one to put together.

Colored Circle Collage

This technique is from the June/July issue. Honestly all of the techniques I have chosen lately have been so fun fast and easy! I had a very limited amount of circle stamps and the technique calls for different sizes. You might find yourself in this predicament also so here is what I did; I cut circles out of EZ mount and used the nonstick side to apply my ink to. So if you have not done this technique yet for that reason, I hope I have solved your problem and you will give it a try.

Holly Brown: Cuttlebug Highlights Bliss

Hi Junkies!  It's Holly posting today, and I am sharing this distress-y, romantic, shabby chic card with y'all.  I went for a distressed version of the Cuttlebug Hightlights technique by stamping with a weathered background first, and then using two different colors of ink when I was doing the actual technique.  I love the soft, comforting, warm colors with the subtle distressing and the feminine flowers and seam binding.  It's just pure bliss!  :-)

Hi TJ friends! Kathie McGuire here on your stamping weekend to share a very quick and easy card I made. I used the Wisped Frames technique from the 2/10 Technique Junkie newsletter on the Spellbinders die cut on the center of the card. This card was especially quick because I purchased a box of pre-made cards at JoAnn's and just added to it. The punch on the side is an EK Success paw print border which I backed with some off white cardstock so the punched strip would show up better. Thanks for stopping by today! Kathie
