Shimmer Shadows fashion

Hello Technique Junks, Hetty here,

Today I share with you two cards I made for
the challenge at the Club Scrap blog with metallics.
I used the Shimmer Shadows technique from the
Feb/March 2014 Newsletter.
This technique is very vesetile and fun.
Hope you give it a try too.

I used Club Scrap's Wild Flowers kit paper and stamps.
The border die and the body are from the
Tim Holtz alterations lineof sizzix dies.

Have a creative day!

TOTW Brayered Rub Ons

Hello again everyone and thanks for stopping by. Todays card features the
Brayered Rub Ons Technique of the week. I have to say that these techniques of the week  really keep you on your toes with trying all the techniques.  They are fun and sometimes a challenge, but I would encourage you to try them every week. You will have fun and also create some really nice cards. Don't forget to post your creations to the yahoo group for all of us to see. I find that seeing what everyone else does, really inspires me.

The stamp is from Club Scrap (it's about 100 years old!)

Take care everyone. If you are in the colder climates stay safe and warm. On Friday we are expected to reach 90 degrees. That's totally nuts even for the desert southwest. It is February.

See you back here soon!

Try That Technique - Brayered Rub-Ons

Happy Sunday Junkies, Tricia here.

This week's try that technique is Brayered Rub-Ons.  What a fun and easy technique.  You can use letters, shapes or like I did...swirls.

This cute little Saturated Canary digi stamp was perfect for a Valentine's Card for my dad.  I colored her with copics and added some airbrushed flowers.

I hope you join us this week...we just love to see what you come up with!

I hope you have a crafty day!

Shimmer Shadows

Hello everyone it's Jackie K here with the Shimmer Shadows technique. It's a shame you can't see the shimmer on these cards, it's beautiful IRL.
The stamp is from Club Scrap and I cut the butterfly with my Cricut.
Give it a try won't you? It's great fun!
See you back here soon!

Shimmer Shadows

Good Afternoon Junkies, Tricia here.

Hope you are all staying dry and warm.  We are experiencing a blizzard here in New England.  This is not a bad thing as I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the snow.  My husband and I are avid snowmobilers and say BRING IT ON!  Also, got to leave work early which is always a good thing.

Today I am bringing you the Try That Technique for this week, Shimmer Shadows.  This is a pretty cool technique and as usual, really easy.

I cut the heart border and the Love U heart in the middle with  my Silhouette Cameo.

Won't you join us and play along?

Hope you all have a crafty day!

Dryer Sheet Stamping

Hello friends.  It's Beth Norman here with a Dryer Sheet Stamping card from the February issue.  It is such a fun technique.  One dryer sheet goes a long way so you can create, create, create.

How is the weather where you are?  Wow, this polar vortex they talk about has really hit everyone.  I'm disappointed that our groundhog saw it's shadow because there is six more weeks of this long winter.

Happy Stamping.
