Here is my card using She is Fierce and Flower Doodles. 

I used Color Burst to make my background on watercolor paper and stamped the Flower Doodles 

background  on top in black in with my MISTI. Because the paper is textured the MISTI works wonderfully 

to get a nice solid image because you can stamp as many times as it takes to get good coverage.

Atomic Love

Hello Everyone!
Did you spring forward last night?  I don't know about you, but I am pretty excited about getting that extra hour of daylight in the evening!
Despite springing forward, it still feels like winter here in St Louis.  With our more recent cold snap, I have been crafting, crafting, crafting!  This brand new 'Perfect Atoms' Stamp is so fun!  It really lends itself to bright, vibrant colors!  If you haven't picked up your new release goodies yet, you can shop and get this fabulous image-well, your entire order- for 10% off with code TJ10LeeAnn.

Most of the card is done with Copics.  The image is colored with Copics and the poppy red strips of paper are actually Copic colored and texturized with burlap and alcohol.
But, I have gotten ahead of myself.  I started by masking off the frame of the image.  You probably don't even notice that a word is missing from the sentiment as well.  I masked off the word 'You' so that I could use my large 'You' die cut.  The die cut is 3 layers glued together and the top layer is sparkly with Wink of Stella.

I am a dog person, any other dog peeps out there? My husband and daughters are highly allergic to cats so we became dog people. We have a little Shih Tzu named Willis and he is definitely spoiled now that we are empty nesters.  I can hear Willis giving this advise especially love unconditionally, just think how peaceful the world would be if we loved people for who they are. 

To make my card I started with a top folding Crumb Cake base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die. I used a paw print stencil and one distress ink for the background. After I fished the background, I used the Mini Misti to stamp the image and colored it with Copic Markers.

For my card today, I used these stamps:
Little Bunny  - this adorable little critter is so cute!
Wisdom of Oz - the verse - comes in a set of 7 verses!
Flourished Floral - I used just the swirl portion of this lovely stamp.

I also used a Tim Holtz die for the background, and stitched circle Spellbinders dies for the circle and rectangle.  For inks, I used Ranger Archival for the bunny and verse, and the brown swirls, and ColorBox white pigment ink for the white swirls.  I brushed some distress ink along the borders.

It's fun to use colored card stock sometimes.  It gives us more mileage on our stamps, because they look so different.  I will post another card featuring this adorable little guy in a garden of spring flowers on a white card later in the month on our TJ Facebook Group.

I just love the colors teal and purple together, especially when I'm doing anything involving feathers. This image was so much fun to stamp and embellish. I went a little crazy with the gems and glitter, but it all worked together well. I stamped the image in teal and used Zig Clean Color Markers to add the colors. I then added a little shimmer and glimmer with Nuvo Glitter Pens.

This is a really great set of stamps. I love that you can change out the sentiment with the frame. And who doesn't love feathers!
