Hillside Village Z-Fold Card

 

Usually Z-fold cards are landscape orientation, But I wanted to try a "Portrait" card using Hillside Village.   I chose to watercolor the homes in the same color range from the background paper.  The two verses are from Something Will Grow and from Modern Encouragements.

The measurements are: Base card is 9 3/4 inches by 5 1/2 .    Score at 4 1/4  and 2  3/4.  

The tag is 3  inches by 2 inches.  But you can make the tag to fit  whatever verse you wish to put on the tag.  Measure and use whatever background paper you wish.

Dotted Blooms Rainbow

    Good morning, Junkies!  It's Holly posting today and I've got a fun and colorful card to share with you.  Did you see the new stamps this month?  One of them is this new Dotted Blooms background stamp.  I love it!  I embossed the Dotted Blooms with white embossing powder and then used distress inks to make a colorful rainbow.  After I applied the inks, I rubbed the embossed areas with a tissue to make those white blooms pop out.  The sentiment is from the Five Fab Phrases set.

Easter is right around the corner! Our blue bunny is as sweet as your chocolate one! The strip in the background uses an ancient Cuttlebug embossing folder that was swiped with the same blue ink as the bunny and heat embossed.
