Happy Galentine's Day

Hello Friends!

It's my day to share with you, here on the Technique Junkies blog!  I have two fun cards, using some stamps from the January release. Don't forget that these new release items are 15% off until January 8th!

We all have those special 'gal' friends in our lives that need a bit of happy mail on Valentine's Day, right? These fun stamps will help you create for your 'gal' friends!

Here's what I made:

This card features a fun new background stamp, 'Kitty Love'.  The background was made by swiping on some Speckled Egg, Kitch Flamingo, and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide Inks directly onto the stamp.  The sentiment 'Happy Galentine's Day' was stamped in Dusty Concord, matted, and the focal panel was matted and assembled.

This card also features 'Happy Galentine's Day'. The background panel is the 'Heart Fade Stencil'. Some dark pink Izink Diamonds was smeared over the stencil, and allowed to dry. Next, the sentiment was stamped in red ink, matted, and adhered to the focal panel. Last, I used a die cut heart over the panel and sentiment to finish the creation.

Friends!

I titled my post because both of my cards today will go to friends. My first card uses the new sentiment, Drunk and Disorderly

I used distress ink and an ACLD stencil called Cracked. The Attitude giraffes are so fun and appropriate with this sentiment!

I have the perfect friends to give this to...we're like the 3 stooges!

My second card I used Kitty Love Background which I stamped in black using the Misti and then used silver and gold stickles to fill in the hearts and then used chipboard x and o. This was a Teapot challenge over on splitcoaststampers.com MMTPT702 All that glitters.

 

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hey there! Pam here today with a couple creations. This stamp is new from TJ and is called Blooming Heart and the sentiment, Happy Galentine's Day is new as well. Fabulous! I think it is more fun to shower our girlfriends with cards for Valentine's Day than it is the guys!

I stamped the heart on white card stock and colored in with my Zig watercolor brush markers. A random piece of designer paper as matting and some fun bow ribbon and rhinestones. The sentiment is on dimensionals.

My next card using the lovely Dahlias stamp and the sentiment is from the Things I Want to Do, was stamped on a mono print background I made the other day. I placed some small drops of acrylic paint here and there and then folded the gel plate to get the white areas. The Dahlias were colored in with Zig watercolor brush markers, too. A couple circle punches for the sentiment and popped on dimensionals with burgundy matting.
