The Beautiful Kingfisher

Good morning and happy hump day with Technique Junkies! Today I am showcasing the new release, Flying Butterflies Border. I stamped it on a piece of designer paper that was left on my desk. Next, I colored them in with a bit of red and then shook up my Shimmering Bliss in silver and poured into a palette and painted on the butterfly. I then added some black rhinestone flourishes. The sentiment is from the Typewriter Set. I stamped the sentiment on dp, too and then die cut with a fun circle and popped on dimensionals.

Spring is in the Air

 Good day to y'all 

 Today I am sharing a couple of makes with the April

release of some stamps at Technique Junkies

First up is the Kingfisher stamp.  

With this one I stamped it onto some acetate (with staz on ink)

placed inside a 3" circle punched out

dry embossed the backgrounds and added some threads

to finish it off.

 

Next up is the Spring sayings stamped onto a vellum jar shape

some raffia tied around the top.

Inserted some previous release flowers

Blooming Dandelions and Field Flowers which I have used

a ton of times !!!  (we are allowed to have favs right?)

Dry embossed down both sides.

The Cat Anchor

 Have you ever had a cat (or dog) on your lap, causing you to be paralyzed until they move? It happens to me every day.

Today I used a piece of patterned paper behind my cat. I was pleased to find paper in my stash with a chair printed on it - just perfect for the stamp! You may find that stamp here:

Spring and Sunshine for Easter

 What better day to celebrate spring than Easter Sunday? Today I used the Spring and Sunshine stamp as a focal image and glittered butterflies from the Flying Butterfly Border in the background. Happy Spring!
