Deb here again with another October Release . This fun stamp  - Rudolph and Friends  - is a great image for some holiday cards !!  I found myself humming the "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer" song while creating my card.

  • On a piece of cream cardstock, I stamped Rudolph and Friends . I used my MISTI  to ensure a crisp image.
  • I used the Toffee Crunch  and Espresso Truffle Memento Dew Drop inkpads to stamp the image. The size of the Dew Drop inks is perfect for inking different areas of a stamp in different colors.
  • I matted the stamped panel on a piece of red cardstock.
  • On a green card base, I adhered a scrap piece of wood-patterned paper.
  • The matted panel was popped up on the card base with foam tabs .
  • I placed rhinestones of several different colors on the stamped stars for a pop of color .

This card reminds me of all the fun holiday specials I watched on television with my parents and brother when I was a child.  If you'd like to add this stamp to your holiday collection, you can use my code - TJ10Deb - for 10%  off over at Technique Junkies .

Joyful Be Your Family

Hello TJ Fans.

Nothing says "Joyful" more than 3 little gnome-elves all dressed in their holiday duds trying to put up the Christmas lights.

The way this gnome stamp was designed really guided me in the creation of this card. Doesn't it look like the one on top is reaching up for something?  Maybe it's lights, an ornament, a gift?

To create this card:

Using a stamping platform I stamped the lights in black (from the Christmas lights set of 4) on a white piece of card stock.  Next, on the same piece, I stamped the Merry Be Your Christmas stamp in green. I then masked part of that sentiment stamp before stamping the gnomes.

If you look closely at the top gnome - he looks double-stamped.  He's not. What I did was stamp an extra one then fussy cut him out and put a clear spring under him.  I'll post a short video on Facebook next to this card.

I added this to a piece of red glitter card stock then adhered that to a navy blue A2 card. Finished.

I hope you found some holiday inspiration with this happy holiday card.

October release is automatically 15% off through October 8th. Everything else if 10% off with TJ10AJ.

Zen Trees

 Hello (Chris here!)

TJ just came out with another great background stamp called Zen Trees.  I live the Zentangle look.  I wanted the focus to be on the background, so I revisited a favorite card layout.   You can see it here. I made a video using some other TJ stamps.  It is a great fun fold because it is easy to make and also easy for the recipient to figure out.   I hope you will give it a try.

I made a card while ago using this layout.  You can see it here.

Merry Be Your Christmas

What a great sentiment for Christmas, right? Merry, peace, Love and Blessings all in one. To create my card, I used two Patterned Papers for the background, and added some sequins. This is an easy wa to create beautiful Christmas cards! The Merry Be Your Christmas sentiment is here:

Wouldn't Peace On Earth Be Amazing? | Stylized Peace Dove | Square Holiday Card

Happy Saturday y'all.
Don't you think that "Peace on Earth" would be the best holiday present ever?
I know I wish for this day.

Today I have a beautiful square holiday card idea that, honestly, can be used for any of the holidays - Christmas, Hanukkah, and even New Year's Day - just by changing the sentiment on the inside of the card.

  • I stamped the dove and the sentiment from the Stylized Peace Dove set, on white cardstock, with the sentiment stamped between the dove's wings.  Then I used a 4" square die to die-cut the image.

Then I stamped just the dove on another piece of white cardstock, fussy cut the dove, added stickles to the wings, and set it aside to dry.

  • I made a top-folding, 6" square card base using white cardstock and adhered a piece of blue cardstock to the card front.
I also cut another piece, 4.5" x 4.5", which I put to the side to be used in a bit.

I found paper in my stash that had been embossed with snowflakes - perfect - and I cut a piece, 5.75" square, and adhered it to the blue cardstock.
You can also use an embossing folder if you have one.

I adhered the dove/sentiment piece to the 4.5" blue cardstock and then to the center of the snowflake paper on my card front.

  • To finish off the card front -

I put foam squares on the back of the fussy-cut dove and adhered it to the card front - making the dove look 3D.

  • I left the inside blank so it can be used for a message on the inside.
This stamp is part of the October 2023 Stamp Release and, if you love it as much as I do, you can save 10% by using my code at checkout - TJ10Michael.
