Birthdays and Donuts

Hey Crafty Friends -

What is better than Birthdays and Donuts seriously? Two of my favorites things wrapped into this one stamp set. I am excited to walk you through how I paired this stamp set with my scraps of fabric.

I used fabric I had on hand and adhered it to my card base with sticky adhesive sheets. I stamped the Birthdays and Donuts stamp set three different times.
  1. Stamp the sentiment in black ink and adhere to a black mat.
  2. Stamp the sentiment a second time in raspberry ink. Cut out the last line of the sentiment and adhere it with 3-D foam tape on top of the sentiment which was stamped in black ink.
  3. Stamp the sentiment a third time in black ink. Color the donuts and fussy cut them out. Adhere each donut with 3-D foam tape to give it dimension.
To finish up the card I add a few iridescent sequins.
This is a fun stamp set to create with. Image all the color possibilities you could use to create a stash of Birthday cards. I hope you were inspired! Don't forget to use code TJ10Shalana at checkout for a discount. Happy Crafting and Thanks for Stopping By!

Meet Me Under the Mistletoe

Deb here with a quick card for some last minute holiday card sending !! I used the Mistletoe Background stamp to create an ATC coin and adhered it to my card base .. I did an ATC coin swap with a friend over the holidays and thought the designs would also  be great for some cards . You can always use removable tape to adhere the coins to your card base .

  • The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • I colored the image with my COPICS and then used a 2 1/2 inch paper punch to create the circle.
  • I used Tim Holtz Christmas ephemera on the circle, leaving some of the Mistletoe background visible.
  • The completed circle was adhered to a blue-green polka dot card base with foam tabs .
I'm finding that the large background stamps can be used is so many ways. I really enjoy making ATC cards and coins with them !! If you're doing some late Christmas shopping for yourself, be sure to use my code - TJ10Deb - for a 10% discount.

Until next time, Stay Creative

It’s Wine-O-Clock

Hello TJ Friends,

Cheers to the perfect pair ~ of stamps!

Add a few purple gems for the hours on the clock, matte in black, add foam for dimension, finish with a purple card base and you’re done.
About the word “grapevine” stamped randomly in the background.  I cut that word off of the Vintage botanical grapevine stamp so I could use it independently.

Don’t forget to use the TJ Design Team Coupon Code (TJ10AJ) if you decide to treat yourself to some end of  the year shopping!
Happy New Year!

Bring in the New Year with a Champagne Toast and Lots of Glitter

Hello everyone!  It's Design Team Member Michael here with a very cool idea for a New Year's card.  Today is December 23rd and my Christmas card making is done for 2023.  Time to ring in 2024.  Today I have a card that will awe your friends and family.  A B&W New Year's Card (very chic) - using the Champagne Toast stamp and only black and white glittered fun foam.  No coloring!

  • I started making a top-folding A2 card base with white cardstock.
  • I cut a piece of black and a piece of white glittered fun foam, 4" x 8.5", applied 2" wide double-sided tape to the back, and then cut them into 1" strips.
  • Starting with a strip of the black glittered cardstock, I removed part of the tape backing, adhered it to the card front on an angle, and trimmed away the excess.
  • Then I adhered a strip of the white glittered cardstock on each side of the black.  Again, trim away any excess.
  • Continue doing this until the card front is covered.

  • I stamped Champagne Toast on white cardstock, die-cut it using a stitched rectangle die, and adhered it to a piece of regular, non-glittered fun foam.
  • For my sentiment, using a scrap piece of the black glittered fun foam, I die-cut a Happy New Year die from Elizabeth Craft Designs, that I had in my stash, and adhered it to the card front across the stems of the champagne glasses.
  • Lastly, I adhered some crystals to the bottom of the champagne glasses for even more shimmer and shine.
Done!  Easy peasy and very chic.  I'd love to know what you think of this card and using glittered fun foam.  Do you guys use glittered fun foam in your cardmaking?  Let me know.  Have a very Merry Christmas, if you celebrate, and a very Happy New Year.  Until next year...

Hugs from Brasil.
