Googly-eyed flamingos

 What is more fun than Flamingos with googly eyes? The Flamingos and Flamazing Day sentiment are a great card combination to lift the spirits of someone special. Who doesn't smile when they see goggly eyes?

My background is patterned paper. I added a little flash of glitter with the glitter tape under the yarn. Both stamps are available from Technique Junkies.

Have a Wicked Halloween My Ghosties

 

Happy Saturday y'all.  Did you know that Halloween is in 89 days?  89 DAYS!!!  So I'm starting early on my cards.  This card comes together in 7 - 10 minutes.  I swear.

• I made a top-folding A2 card using black cardstock.
• I printed one of the designs from the Halloween digital paper from Girl One Art on Etsy and adhered it to the card front.  
• I stamped Ghosties Night using Onyx Black Versafine Ink, embossed it with clear embossing powder, die-cut it using a 3.75" x 5" stitched rectangle die (Pink & Main), adhered a piece of fun foam to the back, and then to the card front. 
• For the inside, I die-cut a piece of white cardstock using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die, stamped Wicked Halloween, also with the Onyx Black Versafine Ink, embossed it with clear embossing powder, and adhered it to the inside of the card. 

• Lastly, I adhered different size googly eyes to the ghosts and set it aside to fully dry.

This is me!

This funny sentiment is from the new Definitions of Family stamp set!  I stamped it on my grid pad to get the placement right before stamping on cardstock, but liked the effect so much I used it!  I thought this previously released Glamour Girl fit the part of "Draunt".  I added a wine glass from the Wine and Friends set.  The BG was double stamped with Marble Paper in Mossy Meadow and Gold.  Find these great stamps at TechniqueJunkies.com.  Use my code TJ10FAITH for 10% off your purchase!

A Vintage Daisy Adventure

 Happy hump day in blog land! Today I am featuring the new sentiment Adventure and I paired it with the gorgeous Vintage Daisy Collage. 

Nothing difficult about this creation. I used Zig watercolor brush markers to color it up and I used a crumpled up tissue on a turquoise ink pad to add some more interest in the background. Matted on black and on a white card base.

Am I the DRAUNT?

 

When my entire family gets together it is always a party! We live far and wide, so it seems that we are always gathering for a celebration. Draunt is how my nieces and nephews see me and my sisters...what they don't realize is that sometimes we are just giddy to be together. Oh well, I just lean into it (they are all adults).

Today I used the Draunt stamp from the Definitions of Family set along with the Little More You stamp for the front panel; the background uses a variety of stamps from the Wine with Friends Set. And yes, that is me.

Fill up that cart!

 I think this is pretty much true for everyone! I was psyched to find this die cut shopping cart online. To create the groceries, I simply cut apart my weekly ad circular and filled up my cart! This was a really fun card to make. It's appropriate for me, too - I can never leave with just one or two items in my cart. Now I have to head off to Costco to get some coffee later today - hopefully that "coffee" won't cost me $100!
