Eat, Drink & Be Thankful

Pam here with a fun creation from the set Inside Out: Love is in the Air. I decided to go for a monochromatic look. I found this chocolate and printed on card stock. Feels Like Sunshine

 Happy Saturday Crafters - 

Today, I am showcasing the Summer Bouquet and Feel Like Sunshine stamps with a heat embossing focus. Inspired by Jenny Colicco, I gold embossed the Summer Bouquet stamp on colored cardstock. 

I stamped and colored a second flower with alcohol markers. I fussy cut the image and popped it up with 3D foam tape. 

I distressed the mat edges added gold thread, cosmic rhinestones and a few white splatters. I stamped the sentiment from the Feel Like Sunshine stamp and added it to this card. 

I love how it came out. Think of all the variations of colors you could use with this card.

Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Today I am showcasing the wonderful Coffee Girl and I paired her with a sentiment from Coffee Quotes, set of 12. I used macchiato ink with the ACLD Coffee Beans stencil for the background. My girl was done up in oranges, browns and yellow using Zigg watercolor brush markers and die cut with a fancy die. Macchiato was sponged around the edges. Some fun ribbon used to finish it off.

It's Your Day !!

Deb here and for my post today, I'm using stamps from the September Release.  A friend of mine has a son who turns 16 on Halloween and I made this card for him... I didn't want it to be too "girly" so I toned down the colors.

• I stamped Halloween Background on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
• The stamped panel was trimmed and then matted with a piece of blue-gray cardstock.
• I colored the stamped image with my COPIC markers.
• A piece of orange striped patterned paper was adhered to a Kraft card base.
• The sentiment - It's Your Day - was stamped on white cardstock with Memento Love Letter ink. It is from the Bold Birthday Wishes set of 9 sentiments - also from the September Release.
• After adhering the Halloween panel to the card front, I placed the sentiment in the lower right corner.
• Several colored rhinestones were paced on the sentiment and the stamped panel.

                     Happy Winter Wishes

Can you believe it’s time to start on holiday and winter cards?  I’m one of those people that get started late. I’m working on fixing that!

This card was made using the Happy Winter Wishes set of 3 and the Zen trees background stamp. 

I took a look at the color wheel and decided on the split complimentary colors:

1) Blue-green (peacock)

2) Yellow-Green (Lime)

3) Red

The one thing I did different than a regular layered card is before I glued down the background piece with the zen trees - I cut up from the bottom on the left side.  I simply followed the side of the tree and cut to where I needed.  I thought tucking the layered front piece behind one of the zen trees gave this a little something extra.  I hope you’ll give it a try.
