TRY THAT TECHNIQUE: Cuttlebug Highlights

Hello Thursday, and hello stampers! It's time for the Technique Junkie Newsletter's TRY THAT TECHNIQUE challenge. This week Diana Enns and I challenged each other to use the Cuttlebug Highlights technique which is from the October 2008 issue.
This week's card not only uses the Cuttlebug Highlights technique, but I also snuck in the Waxy Cuttlebug technique as well. Who can resist putting the two of them together.

Cuttlebug Highlights were created in turquoise and used in my background, and the Waxy Cuttlebug was used in the foreground. The turquoise heart and background for the sentiment are also the Waxy Cuttlebug.

My main image is from Hero Arts and the other stamps are from Stampin Up!

Each week, you are invited to submit a card using the technique of the week, This week we feature the Cuttlebug Highlights Technique. Post your card on the Design Junkie blog post where I highlight this technique. You can also submit it to the Technique Junkie Newsletter yahoo group as well. We love to see your stuff.

Last week we highlighted the Fossil Stone technique. CONGRATULATIONS Francine JD Groulx, your Fossil Stone card is now on the homepage. Don't forget, for your chance to win a week on the home page, all you have to do is submit a card using this week's challenge technique.

Thank you for visiting.

Here I am with this weeks challenge. I used the Tim Holtz Cracked Texture fade and a rainbow pad.
