Last week I bought a grab bag from My Paper Moon, and these adorable mice stamps were included. I thought that they needed a dash of denim, so I created a Faux Denim strip (December 2007 Technique Junkie Newsletter) to layer under the mice. They were colored using the Gamsol Pearl Technique (June 2006 TJNL). The little "Hi" sentiment was just the right size for making this a Circle Tab Card. The step-by-step pictorial directions for the Circle Tab Card is on the Fancy Folds and Motion Paper Crafts CD. It is so easy!
Rubber stamps are, of course, backward images. When you look at unmounted rubber, you have to look at it and think as a mirror image. When I first opened the grab bag, I saw this stamp -- but I thought it was two of the three blind mice! I think it was because the mouse holding the basket is a little hunched over, and the rake looked like a cane. I DID wonder where that other mouse went, though! There was also a stamp that says "Go For It!" - I was all ready to use it with my Blind Mice... I guess our eyes play tricks on us sometimes, and fill in the blanks when they want to.
Have a great day!

As much as I would like to take credit for them, the mice aren't from My Paper Moon. The "Hi" stamp is.
