Distress Ink Watercoloring

CLICK ON THE PHOTO FOR A LARGER VIEW

Hello My TJ Friends! Kathie McGuire here today with a project from the Dec/2011-Jan/2012 Technique Junkie newsletter.

This card features the Distress Ink Watercolor technique. I used it to color behind the Michael Strong Stamps image which was stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder.

The background of the card is nothing more than melted crayons. I made the background first, then used various colors of Distress Inks to match the crayon colors.

Thanks for stopping by today, and if you haven't tried watercoloring with Distress Inks, you're missing out on a VERY fun and easy technique!

Kathie

Beautiful project, Kathie. Gives me already a spring feeling (even though it is still far away!) Lovely background.
