Scribble Borders Tutorial

Nancy Dawson here with the Scribble Borders Technique featured in the December 2012/January 2013 Newsletter! Such a fun and easy technique. I especially like it for the bold stamps and male-oriented cards!

Now that the holidays are winding down, I hope we all  have more time for creating. Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and had lots of quality time with friends and family.

Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Ribbon Tab Border by Judy Jackson

Happy day to you from Judy Jackson.  I also used Rainbow Edges technique.  If Cinderella's glass shoes had any texture - I think they might look this!  I love this shoe and the verse from Impression Obsession.  The shoe is a Close to My Heart stamps.

I used a variety of ribbons to add variety and interest. Both techniques are from the current December/January newsletter.  I can visualize how this technique could be used for Christmas cards.   Mine are done -- or at least the focal image is done and they won't be able to utilize this technique.

Flat backed sticky pearls are used an embellishment.

Be crafty today!

Ann Clack here!

Christmas is coming soon so here are a couple of quickie gift card holders.  I made these for a friend who needed them for gift giving.  I altered the original directions to make the card a little wider.  Hope you enjoy and are inspired to make some gift card holders of your own.  The blue flower is from a stamp set I got from Gina K Designs.  The iris stamp is one of the first stamps I ever purchased in 1987 from Personal Stamp Exchange.....still love that stamp!  It is colored with copics.

Welcome Baby with Collage Strips

Hi, it's Beth Norman here with today's card which uses Collage Strips.  It is such a pretty technique, don't you think?  I sponged several colours of ink on the cardstock to give the appearance of tie die.  My cute stamp comes from I Brake for Stamps.  Thank you for stopping by. Happy stamping!

Marbled Skin from CD 10 by Judy Jackson

The Marbles Skin technique is very interesting to make.  You have an idea of how it will look when you done but not really.  Be sure and let it dry completely. Mine took almost 24 hours to dry.

The stamps are from Stampin' Up and the focal image is water colored.   This will be one of my Christmas cards.

I hope to be done with my cards very soon!  How are you doing?

Embossed Puzzle by Judy Jackson

This Embossed Puzzle technique is from the Technique Junkie August/September newsletter.  But it just fit the focal image from Stampin' Up and highlighted it so nicely.  This makes a wonderful Christmas card.

The image is colored with Copic markers.

One of my goals for this year is to have all of my Christmas cards made early.  and I did accomplish that goal!  I hope all of your Christmas preperations are going well.  Enjoy this season of celebration.  I hope you have crafting goals of your own!
