LOL! This is so out of the box for me, but I couldn't resist using the new TJ stamp, With All My Boobs, to create this shaped bikini card.
I don't normally decorate the back of my cards, but this backside clearly demanded it!
I separated the sentiment by carefully cutting the first two lines from the rest of the stamp (see above card front). I stamped the remaining sentiment in the card's interior.
I'm not sure who I would send this to.....but, she'd surely laugh!

Owie
Hello Stampers! It's Robin Redd, here, with you.
Today, I'm sharing a layout I just made using the Fun and Games Stamp.
I thought it was absolutely perfect for these pictures.
I'm sure we all have moments like this from our pets. Poor, babies.
Here's a close-up of this gem.
I, simply, inked it in black then colored in the dog and cone with colored pencils.
Do you use stamps in scrapbooking, too?
Until next time...

Successful Woman
Good morning Junkies! I hope everyone is doing well today.
Today I have a canvas that uses a couple of the wonderful Technique Junkie stamps and some of the new Minx Shimmering Inks from Art Anthology!
Today I have a canvas that uses a couple of the wonderful Technique Junkie stamps and some of the new Minx Shimmering Inks from Art Anthology!
1) Start with a 5x7 flat canvas. I had a used one that I tore all the things off of and then painted with black gesso. I next layered several colors of paint and some Inka Gold for depth.
2) Once the background is dry, stamp Falling Checks (on of the new releases for January) in random spots across the canvas. Set aside.
3) Stamp Let's Face It 5 on a piece of paper with Versifine black ink. Paint her face with slightly watered-down Art Anthology Kona Velvet, her lips with Ferrari Sorbet, her eyelid with Vegas Gold Sorbet, and her eye with Chocolate Sorbet.
4) Drop some Art Anthology Minx Inks in Radiance, Indulgence, and Panache onto your craft sheet. Using a round paint brush, paint her turban in alternating colors. While it's hard to see in the photo, there is a wonderful shimmer that just brings the turban to life. Dry with a heat gun.
5) Using a flat brush, brush Decadent Minx across a sheet of paper. When dry, stamp the sentiment from Double Weird Sayings in black ink.
6) Arrange your images on the canvas, adding a couple of leaf fronds and a burlap butterfly.
Until later.....................

Let's Roll
Dog stamps seem to be important in this months Technique Junkie stamp release as there were three very good ones.I have used this stamp before this month. It is called Let's Roll http://techniquejunkies.com/lets-roll/.. I used Copic Markers and sponging to color the different aspects of the focal image. I thought the embossing folder with the the cascading dots -- more at the top than the bottom reminded me of the foliage of the trees.
I layered the sentiment from the Let's Roll stamp set and used a scrap for the brown bottom layer . Some torn vellum with some adhesive hidden behind the focal image and the sentiment finishes off the card. As usual I use several layers to give the focal image a good background.
What new Technique Junkie stamps have you been using? Are you getting inky today?

Let's Roll!
Happy Saturday Junkies! Pam here today. As we all in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast hunker down for our first major snow storm of the season, I wanted to share some news with you. I am moving from the frosty Northeast to South Carolina in about 2 weeks. It's been a very busy process, exciting and full of anxiety as well!
So for this week's project I thought it would be very appropriate to create a tag featuring the January 2016 release Let's Roll stamp set.
In just a short time we will be loading the dogs up and hitting the road for the next chapter in our journey!
My studio is packed up and I am working with limited supplies but as always I have my TJ stamps and my distress inks available!!
Hope everyone is safe and sound through the storms coming - happy crafting!

Happy Birthday Advice on DP
Hello Fellow Junkies!
Karen McAlpine with you today to share a project made with the January New Release Happy Birthday Advice. I really like the layout of the stamp, but I decided to use it in a little different way.
I started with a long narrow card made with an Apricot CS and added a layer of decorative paper. Then stamped Happy Birthday Advice on the Apricot CS, and sliced the stamped image apart. I used a rotary cutter and ruler to get very straight cuts.
Arrange each line from the stamp on the DP. When you like the arrangement, add each with dimensional adhesive. Make two cuts with a craft knife for the ribbon. Slip the ribbon through the cuts and tie in a bow. Add some dots.
Loving this versatile stamp!! This makes such a great Birthday card for those of any age group. Thanks for Stopping by! See you again soon!

Love Is In The Air
We are fast approaching Valentine's Day and Technique Junkies has come out with some great stamps for this loved occassion.
It's The Crafty Nurse here today with a card celebrating love using some of the January Release Technique Junkies stamps.
My card today features the January Release sentiment, "Life Complete SDX069" stamped in Versafine Onyx Black Ink and clear heat embossed. The background technique used is "Distress Stain Dip from the Artistic Effects CD" using Picked Raspberry, Ripe Persimmon, and Squeezed Lemonade. I then used a Simon Says Stamp heart die and alternated card stock for the center pieces.
I hope this provides a little inspiration for you to create a love card for your sweetie.
Bye, Bye for now,

Happy Birthday Advice
Hello there stampers. It's Beth Norman here with two alike, yet different, cards using the Happy Birthday Advice stamp which is a January release so it's hot off the press. Isn't it the neatest birthday stamp?
I used the shaving cream technique to create my background. Doesn't it look like yummy icing on a cupcake? Rather than using reinkers, I used Dylusions spray.
My card uses all of the same products, but in the bottom card I used different coloured brads, reversed the direction of the sentiment and used different Washi tape.

Greetings Inky Friends!
Tonya here with a couple more stamps from the January NEW Release!
First I sprayed watercolor paper with Art Anthology Sprays using Timeless, Grass and Ink Spot. I dried the piece with a heat tool and then misted the Falling Checks stamp with water using the water as my "ink" to stamp onto the sprayed piece. This reacted by lifting some of the colored spray off the paper and leaving a ghosted image. For the images I used the adorable Geek Chic set
and heat embossed them in black.!
Next up I used the new Happy Valentine's Day stamp and colored it in using alcohol markers. I masked the Kitty Lovers behind the heart so it looks like they are sitting on it. For the background I used the Vortex background stamp and I heavily applied gelatos to it. I sprayed the stamp with water and pressed it onto watercolor paper. This was my second print too with lots of color still on it! I tied it off with FSJ's Sweet Berry Crimped Ribbon.
Valentine's Day is near and both sets would be great for the tech-y geek or kitty-lover in your life!
I'll be back on February 1st with more new releases!!
Happy Creating!! ~ TONYA :)

People Will Stare
{jane bosi}
The January stamp release from Technique Junkies includes this photo stamp image of Marilyn Monroe. She's easily one of the most recognizable people of all time. I wanted to create a project that captured some of her spunkiness. By combining the Kisses background and the People Will Stare sentiment, I think I've hit my mark!
For my project, I started by creating a background using the Back To Back technique. You'll find this technique and 29 others on the Bodacious Backgrounds CD available exclusively in the Technique Junkies store. Images used are Circus Stars and Lipstick Kisses. To finish things off, I added one of my favorite kitchy sentiments, People Will Stare.

Bookworms
Good morning Junkies! Hope your new year is off to a wonderful start. For your viewing pleasure, I have a tag that can also be used as a bookmark (what I'm considering using it for anyway).
I started out by saturating my tag with Art Anthology Peacock Feathers Colorations. Just spray a puddle on your mat and drag the tag through it until it's covered. I then used a baby wipe to add the white "clouds". Next, I stamped Birds on A Fence in black Versafine ink (my fave) and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then stamped a quote from the Bookworms set at the top left of the tag. I finished it off with some blue and black fiber.
Nice and simple. Anything I tried to add just detracted from the tag.
Until later..................

Dogs Are Family Too
I clearly remember our family having dogs as I was growing up. And all three of my siblings have or had dogs in their household as adults. My husband and I never had dogs in our family -- primarily due to allergies on my part. I remember so well our dogs riding in either the front seat or the seat and often they had heads sticking out the open window with their tongues hanging out! So this card is in memory of all the dogs our family had while I was growing up.
I used Memento sepia ink so I could use my Copic markers to color the truck and the dog. I used my Copics to color the trunks of the trees and used a finger dauber to sponge ink on the leaves of the trees.
Background papers that reminded me of road trips are on a few layers. And I slanted the focal image to show off some of those papers. A few rustic type brads and the card is done!
I used this Technique Junkie stamps: Lets Roll - http://techniquejunkies.com/lets-roll/.

Book Mark Madness
Happy New Year Junkies!!!
The Crafty Nurse here with a post using some of the great new release stamps from January. When I saw the book themed stamps, the first thing I thought about was creating some fabulous bookmarks.
I used alcohol inks a few different ways. First I dropped them directly onto the tag then added 91% alcohol on top with a dropper to create great movement. Then I used the more traditional polished stone technique using the applicator and blending solution then pouncing on the tag.
After applying the ink, I stamped "Books #S644" on a few tags and heat embossed with clear. I then chose several of the sentiments from "Bookworms #SS054" and stamped those as well. To finish off I created tassels with bakers twine and metallic thread. I found a great tutorial on Pinterest on how to make these very quickly.
I hope everyone is enjoying their new year and making time to get your fingers inky. Also, don't forget, Pat has offered $15% off the January Release stamps until the 8th so stop by the Technique Junkies store and grab up some goodies.
Take care,

Blue Jeans for your Birthday
Happy New Year folks! It's Beth Norman here with a masculine card for you, using the newly released Blue Jean's stamp. If you look closely you will see a Cheers! stamp along the seam. The Cheers! comes from Simple Sentiments 2a set. Above that, I added a shiny gold brad.
I couldn't resist adding a Happy Birthday leather patch to the jeans, so I pulled out a piece of brown cardstock that looked like leather in colour and then stamped out Happy Birthday in black VersaFine. The Happy Birthday comes from the Holidays 2 Flourish Sentiments.
I distressed the cardstock in brown ink and then used the Faux Stitching technique from the April 2006 Technique Junkie Newsletter. The edges of the patch were rounded with my corner rounder. Finally, I added brown brads to each corner of the patch.
Hopefully you are inspired to use this stamp too. It makes for a quick masculine card.
Remember, all January released stamps are 15% off until January 8th.
Cheers!

More New January Release Fun!
Greetings my Inky Friends!
Tonya in today and I'm here to show you a couple more of the January Releases!
Remember they are 15% OFF if you order by January 8th!!
I'm going to start with this fun little puppy called Perfect Companions.
Next up is this sassy little card to send to your main squeeze!
The SENTIMENT cracked me up and well, I can kinda relate! ;) I was so happy to have already owned the Fan Girl stamp and thought she fit perfectly with the saying!
For this background, I used alcohol inks and a stencil from the Sensational Stencils CD and then I also ran it through the Big Shot with an embossing folder.
I will see you back here again on the 18th with some more inspiration and Valentine love! In the mean time be sure to check out my PERSONAL BLOG to see what other crafty shenanigans I may be into! Until then.... {{{Inky Hugs}}} ~Tonya :D
