Shimmering Leaves

Hello, Junkies! Toodle Noodle Ro with you today. Been feeling a little Autumn-y lately? I know I have. It's my favorite time of the year. I'm looking forward to all the beautiful colors Mother Nature has to share.

And speaking of beautiful colors...what better method to color some beautiful leaves than with the Shimmering Bliss sprays! I used five different colors and I am in absolute awe of how shiny and seamlessly they blend together!  The colors used are Dragon's Blood, Harvest Sunset, Golden Olivine, Luscious Lawn and Imperial Yellow. Oh.Em.Gee!!! Can you say GORGEOUS?!!!

These leaves will definitely give ol' Ma Nature a run for her money!

I used the stamp set Autumn, Set of 6 (SS078) on this card which, despite it's elegant beauty, was super simple to create. I stamped each of the three leaves several times on Neenah White Cardstock using Versamark ink. I then embossed with copper powder, sprayed with the luscious Shimmering Bliss, then cut out each leaf.  I stamped the sentiment in the same way on a piece of brown cardstock.

Each leaf was arranged on the cardstock and attached using Nuvo glue. I trimmed off the edges of the overhanging leaves, added a knotted piece of twine, then attached that panel to a green piece of cardstock cut slightly smaller than an cream colored A2 card base. That panel was then attached to the card.

I just can't get over how lovely these leaves turned out.  Can you see all that shimmer? It is so hard to capture on film just how exquisite this shine is!

If you are loving these sprays and stamps, it's easy to save 10% on them by using my special code.
Hope you enjoyed my card and are looking forward to Autumn and all the beautiful colors as much as I am.

Til next time,
Keepin' it inky!

Your leaves are gorgeous, Ro. I enjoy the fall colors, but i dislike that that it leads to winter. So cold.
