30 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS: DAY 17

I hope you have been enjoying all the wonderful Christmas Cards being shared by the Design Team. I have another one for you today (hi, it's me, Ro!). And stay tuned, because tomorrow (November 1st) brings a whole new batch of new stamps and new inspiration! Hope to see you there!

My card is a little non-traditional in that it is black. But the images make it Christmas all the way!

I began by creating an A2 card from black cardstock (CS). I added a shimmery gold panel of CS to highlight the top layer. Here is how the rest of the card came together (just look at that shimmer!):

I  first laid out where I wanted each stamp in the MISTI. I removed all the stamps except the center ornament and stamped it with Versamark Ink, then embossed it with silver embossing powder (EP). I placed the panel back in the MISTI and again placed where I wanted the second ornament, the star. I stamped and embossed it with gold EP. I repeated the steps for the third ornament (bronze EP) and sentiment (silver EP).

I then sprayed the panel to give it a beautiful shimmer.

I mounted the panel to the card base and added several gems for added bling.
