30 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS - DAY 3

It's going to be a Kraft Paper Christmas for me!

Merry Christmas (just a wee bit early, lol)! It's Toodle Noodle Ro here with you today for Day 3 of our 30 Days of Christmas event. And being day 3, I thought I'd share 3 cards with you! All with the common theme of Kraft Paper.

But first, did you know that until November 13th, EVERY STAMP IN THE CHRISTMAS COLLECTION is 20% off (No code needed...automatically deducted at checkout). PLUS...you can save an additional 10% by using the code "TJ10Ro". That's a whopping 30% off Christmas Stamps! You can actually save 10% on everything else, too, using that code! Who doesn't love a good bargain!

And now for the cards!  I like to have the ornaments on my tree as the highlight, so I wrap all my gifts in brown kraft paper, and then use three or four different ribbons to spruce them up. I love the simplicity (not to mention the cost savings!). After all, it's not just about the gifts! So I decided I would create some Christmas cards along those lines...with kraft cardstock and a simple color accent of green.

As you can see, the kraft CS keeps the cards very understated, but really let the sentiment and graphics pop.

The first card is a card of threes...3 stamps, 3 ink colors, 3 embellishments. This sure would be an easy one to mass-produce!

Stamps Used:
-- Seasons Greetings, Set of 6 (SS097)
-- Pinecone (SD821)

Other Supplies:
-- Archival Ink: Fern Green, Potting Soil, Red Geranium
-- Cardstock: Kraft and Green
-- Adhesive, Acrylic Block, Paper Trimmer, Bone Folder, Adhesive Gems

The next card is layered and lovely.  I am really digging the whole kraft CS thing!

Stamps Used:
-- Seasons Greetings, Set of 6 (SS097)

Other Supplies:
-- Nuvo Glitter Marker: Morning Moss
-- Nuvo Crystal Drops: Ivory Seashell
-- Memento Ink: Tuxedo Black, Bamboo Leaves
-- Cardstock: Kraft
-- Embossing Folder & Machine, Adhesive, Acrylic Block, Paper Trimmer, Bone Folder, Crystal and Silver Embellishments

And here is my final card. Check out the shimmer on those ornaments!

Stamps Used:
-- Seasons Greetings, Set of 6 (SS097)

Other Supplies:
-- Memento Ink: Tuxedo Black, Cottage Ivy
-- Cardstock: Kraft and Green
-- Adhesive, Foam Tape, MISTI, Paper Trimmer, Bone Folder

Hope you were able to find some inspiration and enjoy the simplistic feel of using kraft CS on your Christmas Cards. Don't forget the special 20% off Christmas Stamps and additional 10% off everything as I mentioned above.
Go on...get yourself a little treat!

Til next time,
Keepin' it inky!
