Congratulations Graduate!
Happy Sunday, and welcome! It's my turn to post on the Technique Junkies blog today. For my card I chose the Graduation Greetings set.
This fabulous set is jam-packed with any image you will need to make graduation cards! It has eleven stamps; four images and seven verses.
Here is one of the cards I have made from this set...
Stamps: Graduation Greetings
French Text
To create my background panel, I brushed antique linen distress ink onto white card stock, then stamped the French Text in the same ink. I stamped some of the ink off on scrap paper first to lighten it.
I used my VersaFine Claire Nocturne ink pad to stamp the images and verse. I love this ink, as it always provides full, rich coverage of my stamped images. I always use my Misti stamping tool when stamping, so that I can stamp again to get deeper color if needed. This tool has saved so many start-overs for me!
I layered my stamped panel onto a black panel, then onto a cream colored A2 card front. In added the Congratulations panel with foam tape for dimension.
Inside: I stamped the verse, and added a strip of patterned paper from my stash.
I hope you are inspired by my card today. If you haven't checked out these April release stamps yet, you can see them HERE. For more inspiration, you can find the release blog post HERE, with all of the designers' blog post links.
Don't forget, all new release stamps are 15% off through May 8th. Add my code, TJ10Lynda, to get an extra 10% off. That's a whopping 25% off new release stamps through this Wednesday, May 8th.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great Sunday and a fabulous week ahead!
Blessings,
