Advice from a Giraffe
Hi folks! Beth here with a scene that touches my heart because this stamp reminds me of Africa. My daughter often travels to Africa for work and it touches my heart that she is so compassionate.
To create my background, I first cut the shape then sponged the entire piece with a yellow Distress Oxide. Next, I masked the large sun and sponged orange on the top half of the sky, then added a green along the bottom. I left the sunset to dry overnight then I stamped out Advice from a Giraffe with my Misti.
I am often asked how I get such a smooth finish when I sponge. The secret is by using Ink Blending Brushes. Yup, they rock my world and they can rock yours too by purchasing them at a 10% discount by using code TJ10Beth. All products, excluding clearance items, can be purchased at 10% with the code.
I hope I have inspired you to create your own sunset.

Such creative work, Beth! Just beautiful!
Wonderful card and super blending, Bethie. I completely agree about those blending brushes. Rocked my world, too! Habits are hard to break tho. I still reach for my sponge finger daubers first! LOL Have a great week! XOX
