I used Being A Family from the Technique Junkies Stamps May Release for this card. The inside verse is from the set Modern Encouragements.
If you have read my blog for very long then you might know I like to cut apart stamps and use the stamps in different ways. It doesn't matter what stamp company the stamp is from - if it can be cut apart and used as two stamps, eventually it will happen. So for this card I cut part the lovely leaves from the words. But where I cut is not trimmed so I can put the two pieces back together as a puzzle, and you would never know the difference.
The leaves were stamped on the background. The verse was stamped on vellum and adhered to this polka dot green designer paper with the adhesive from my Xyron machine. I added a tiny brad as an embellishment.
Hope this day in May is full of nice weather and family even in isolation! Get inky - it's good for you!

Wowza. That green jumps out at me! I cut apart my first stamp last month and graduated to my second last week. For me it's a scary thing to do!
Thank you Beth. The first time you cut a stamp apart is scary. Now I do it so often, its no big deal.
Such a lovely card, Judy. I recently ordered the stamps you used...they were just shipped-Yay! By the way, were you at the Stamp Art Tour last Spring in the Greater Philadelphia area? I think I met you there at the TJ make and take that Pat was conducting. So enjoyed the experience. Thanks for sharing your card - stay well.
