Colorful Easter Cards

Hello! I am so excited to be here for the first time as part of the TJ Design Team!  My name is Tracy Shultz and I am sharing with you four of the many cards that I created featuring the Happy Easter Bunny and the Dotted Blooms Stamps. I probably made two dozen of these! It was so much fun to stamp out the bunny in springtime colors and to ink the background stamp using multiple colors of ink. This fun card is easy to make, so I hope that you will give it a try!

Stamps used: Happy Easter Bunny and Dotted Blooms. I am happy to share with you my discount code for 10% off: TJ10Tracy

Card # 1 - Serenade Bunny. I stamped the bunny with Serenade light purple ink from Catherine Pooler. I used Tsukineko Radiant Cool Neon Ink, (quad combo: Electric Pink/Electric Purple/Electric Blue/Electric Green) to ink the background once. Then I rotated the paper and stamped again. This is what I call the double stamp technique. I used a die from my stash to create the blue-green grass. I then layered my background onto a piece of purple card stock from my stash. All these adhered to an A2 (4.25" x 5.5")  white card base.

Check out my video that demonstrates how I created these cards:

Card # 2 - Pucker Up Bunny. I stamped the bunny with Pucker Up pink ink from Catherine Pooler. I used Pucker Up Ink again to ink the background once. Then I rotated the paper and stamped the background again using Cummerbund light blue ink from Catherine Pooler. I used a die from my stash to create the blue-green grass. I then layered my background onto a piece of purple card stock from my stash. All these adhered to an A2 (4.25" x 5.5")  white card base.

Card # 3 - Catching Rays Bunny
Card # 3 - Catching Rays Bunny with Pucker Up and Catching Rays inks. I stamped the bunny with Catching Rays orange ink from Catherine Pooler.  I used Catching Rays ink again to ink the background once. Then I rotated the paper and stamped the background again using Pucker Up bright pink ink from Catherine Pooler. I used a die from my stash to create the blue-green grass.  All these adhered to an A2 (4.25" x 5.5")  magenta card base.

Card # 4 - Pucker Up Bunny with Orange Peel and Pink Champagne Background. I stamped the bunny with Pucker Up ink from Catherine Pooler. I used Orange Peel ink by Catherine Pooler to ink the background once. Then I rotated the paper and stamped the background again using Pink Champagne ink from Catherine Pooler. I used a die from my stash to create the blue-green grass. I then layered my background onto a piece of orange card stock from my stash. All these adhered to an A2 (4.25" x 5.5")  white card base.

So, so adorable. My mind doesn't think too far out of the box. I never thought of making my bunny anything but black. Thanks for your inspiration!

Hi Beth, thank you. Your bunny is striking in black with red letters. I love the trees and layers you added as well as the sweet butterflies! Tracy
