Hey Crafty Friends -
As soon as I saw the Drop A House stamp it took me back to my childhood. First thought was the Wiz. Classic movie I watch annually at a minimum in my household. My next thought was the Broadway show Wicked as to the colors in my first card.
To create the look on this card I did the following:- I stamped the Drop A House stamp in black ink on a piece of white card stock I die cut with Scrappy Boy Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die.
- The Honeycomb Mask Stencil was laid on top of the image. I carefully used my blending brush and Black Soot Distress Oxide around the mat being mindful not to go over the image.
- I placed the mat on top of a piece of white card stock I die cut with Scrappy Boy Stitched Scalloped Edge dies. I then adhered it to a Halloween themed patterned paper by Close to My Heart.
- I colored the image using Spectrum Noir Tri blend markers. I decided at the last minute to stamp the house a second time. I colored the image, fussy cut it out and popped it up with 3-D foam tape to add dimension.
- I wanted "Drop & On" to stand out! I pulled out green Stickles I had never used before. Great way to rediscover my supplies. :-)
- To finish off the card I add a few Googly eyes.
