Hey Crafty Friends -
Looking for a fun stamp set to use as you work on your holiday cards? If so I highly encourage you to grab the newly released The Bottle Won't Open stamp set! Check out the below instructions providing steps on how I put this card together.
- The colors were important so I began looking through my stash of patterned paper to find that special piece of paper. I knew I wanted to use red/cranberry as my main colors with a hint of green to color the leaves.
- I cut a piece of patterned paper as well as white card stock using a nested deckled edge die. I adhered the patterned paper to the card base and the white card stock to the patterned paper.
- The sentiment is from the November Release stamp set, The Bottle Won't Open. You can either mask the sentiment or cut the stamp. I am a cutter so I tend to cut stamps. I know I am fearless! LOL The great thing is you put it back together like a puzzle piece.
- I stamped the portion of the sentiment that read "I'm trying to get in the Holiday Spirit". I colored the banner and leaves using Spectrum Noir Tri Blend Markers.
- The sentiment was paired with the Gnome for Christmas stamp set. Isn't the Gnome beyond cute??!!
- The Gnome image was stamped in black ink onto the white mat and then again on a scrap piece of white card stock. I colored the image, fussy cut it out and adhered it over the stamped image with 3-D foam tape adding dimension.
- The cuffs at the end of the gnomes shirt was colored with Stickles to add flair.
- I added a few bitty sparkles to round out this card.
Isn't he cute?!
