Deb here with one of the November Release stamps for a fun project. I had a creative day with a friend recently and while I made cards, she created some gift bags. They were so amazing that I thought I'd make a few for this post. The Bottle Won't Open stamp was perfect for my gift bags.
- I bought some Kraft and Red gift bags at Dollar Tree - actually they were 3 for $1.25.
- Red and green plaid patterned paper was cut and adhered to the front of each of the bags.
- I stamped the Bottle image twice on white mixed-media paper with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
- I also stamped the Bottle image twice on green paper and fussy-cut the banner.
- The 2 stamped images were colored and trimmed.
- I adhered the banners to each of the stamped images.
- Red rhinestones were placed on the sides of each holly leaf cluster.
- I adhered the matted, stamped images to Christmas patterned paper .
- On the bag with the green plaid background, I adhered the holly paper .
- On the red plaid background bag, I adhered the holiday cups paper.
- I tied a wooden holiday tag to each bag with twine.
Michael Trent and I are both using this Bottle stamp today for our He Made It / She Made It challenge .. We choose a stamp each month and create with it - see what we come up with. I can't wait to see his project with this stamp !! You can check out his project over at his blog - World of Michael Trent ..
It was fun making these bags - I'll definitely be using the other 4 bags I bought to make more. I can use them for Christmas gifts !! Thanks for stopping by my post - I'll be creating with a few other new releases throughout the month ..
