Easy and Fast Mid-Century Modern Birthday Card

Hello everyone, and Happy Saturday.  When I saw the Mid-Century Modern Borders I knew I had to make a birthday card for a friend here who LOVES anything modern or minimalistic.    She also loves black and white and that makes this idea even easier.

The first thing I did was to die-cut a piece of white cardstock using a stitched rectangle die, stamp the two Mid-Century Modern Border stamps - facing each other - using my Misti, and then stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Floral Framed Sentiments Set of 6.

I cut a piece of black fun foam and adhered it to the back.  Then I went through my paper stash and found a piece of black and white paper, which I adhered to the front of my A2 card front.  Then I adhered my stamped piece to the card front.

To finish the card off, I adhered a few black enamel dots to the card front.

Done.  I'm sure the dots, paired with the rectangles, is going to drive my friend nuts but I love how this turned out and it's so fast to make.  If you see anything on the Technique Junkies website, you can save 10% on those items at checkout by using my code - TJ10Michael.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.  Until next time...

Hugs from Brasil.
