Faith on Fabric

                                                            Hello TJ Friends!

Have you ever added fabric to a card?  I’ve shared this in the past, but in case you missed it…I’m sharing this technique again. If you have some miscellaneous fabrics in your stash or you know a friend that has some - grab some scraps and give this a try.

I’m a tactile person which means I like to touch and feel things. That is one reason I make cards that have fabric on them. They are also unique and one-of-a-kind.

One easy way to make these cards is to start with a heavy card stock base (or repurpose one). Next you’ll gather random size fabric strips, paint glue onto your card with a brush, and add your strips. Be sure to flatten them out. And it’s okay if they dangle off the edge of your card, let them dangle…you’ll trim them after they’ve thoroughly dried on your card.

After it has dried and you trimmed off the excess fabric, add your embellishments and sentiment. Boom! Done!

On this card I used the Faith Requires Trust stamp released this month - plus a button and leaves.

*Stamp your image or sentiment in a color that harmonizes with your fabrics.
