Hello all and Happy Saturday! We all need a new baby card at times. Today I am sharing two cards I made - one for a baby boy and the other for a baby girl - using Giraffe Love and one of the sentiments from Floral Framed Sentiments.
- First, I stamped Giraffe Love on two pieces of white cardstock. Then I die-cut them using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die, and colored them using some yellow, orange, and brown tones of markers.
- I made 2 top-folding A2 cards - one baby pink and one baby blue. Then I adhered a piece of fun foam behind each of the colored Giraffe Love pieces and glued one to each card front. I used the 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die to cut another 2 pieces of white cardstock and I adhered one inside each card where a message will be written.
- I stamped Congratulations twice from Floral Framed Sentiments, layered them on a piece of blue and pink cardstock, added a button and crystals, and adhered them to the card fronts.
Here are the two cards - one for a boy and one for a girl.
I hope you have enjoyed these card ideas for a new baby. Make one of these and they will be kept for years and years. Remember, if you go shopping on the Technique Junkies website (www.techniquejunkies.com), you can save 10% at checkout by using my discount code - TJ10Michael.
