Hello everyone and Happy Saturday. Design Team Member Michael here with a reminder that It's Okay Not To Be Okay! I have a friend who is struggling with some mental health issues. We talk almost every day on WhatsApp but I wanted to send her a hand-written message in a hand-made card to let her know I'm there for her.
I used the Abstract Florals and It's Okay stamps to make this quick card.
- I stamped Abstract Florals on a piece of scrapbook paper that already had a distressed ink look to it. You can also make your own using Distress Inks and some water.
- I used a rectangle die to cut 3 sections out of the stamped image. Then I adhered my background to my card front.
- I layered the rectangle pieces on a piece of black cardstock and adhered them to the card front using foam tape - to raise the pieces off the card front.
- I stamped It's Okay on white cardstock, die-cut it using a circle die, then die-cut a piece of black cardstock using the next die up in size. Layered the sentiment on the black and then to the card front.
I left the inside of the card blank so that I had space to write a note to my friend.
I'd love to know what you think of this card idea. Also, if you love the idea and go shopping on the Technique Junkies website, use my code at checkout to save 10% on your whole order - TJ10Michael.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today and, until next time...
Hugs from Brasil.
~Michael
