Falling In Love At The Beach | Valentine's Day Card | Beach Card

Hey y'all.  So, the holidays are over.  Time to put those Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and New Year stamps to the side and make cards for love - falling in love at the beach this summer,  an anniversary, maybe a wedding, or for Valentine's Day.

Summer is right around the corner and lots of people will fall in love at the beach this year so...let's make a card to celebrate summer love.  I used Love Harlequin as my background and Stays At The Beach as my focal image.  I also had a stash of adhesive hearts that went perfectly with the card.

Let's make the card...

  • I made a top-folding A2 card using red cardstock.
  • I die-cut a piece of white cardstock using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die and adhered it to the inside of the card for a message.
  • I stamped Love Harlequin on white cardstock, die-cut it using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die, adhered a piece of fun foam to the back, and then adhered it to the card front.
  • Next, I stamped Stays at the Beach, die-cut it using a circle die, colored in the image, adhered a piece of fun foam to the back, and then to the card front.
  • Lastly, I adhered glossy accents to the water droplets near the hears, and the adhesive hearts to the background image.

You are the World

S782 Love Harlequin You are the World

Hello friends!! Giovana here today with a card using a lot of heat embossing, one of my very first favorite techniques, easy, elegant and fast to make.
Mother's Day is coming soon and I have the perfect card to give to your mom, mother-in-law or your favorite mom/friend in the world.

Let me show the details:
* Stamp the Love Harlequin on a piece of watercolor paper in  Versamark Watermark Ink. Then add white embossing powder and heat set.
* After that, using a sponge applicator add Wilted Violet Distress Oxide and Worn Lipstick Distress Ink all around the image, clean your image with a paper towel to make the white heat embossing pop.
* Die-cut panel and adhere it to a white card base with foam adhesive.
* Stamp sentiment from You are the World set in Purple ink on a piece of gold cardstock. Die-cut piece.
* Stamp flowers on vellum in Versamark Watermark Ink, add gold embossing powder and heat set. Fussy cut the flowers and add them behind the sentiment. Die-cut a white square and add it behind the sentiment. Add to card base with foam adhesive.
* Add pearls.

To The Moon

Hello Junkies!
It's Ceal here to share a card using a little bit of a different variation of the Ombre' Splatter Technique. Making this card was so much fun!
I started with a piece of watercolor paper and the Love Harlequin stamp,
like this stamp? You can get it and anything else and save 10% using my code TJ10Ceal at techniquejunkiescom.

I stamped the image using Versamark ink and then embossed it with gold embossing powder, next I created the background using distress oxide inks in Candied Apple, Picked Raspberry and Worn Lipstick and bended them together. after I achieved the Ombre effect then I spritzed it with water to get Ombre' Splatter.
for the greeting I used the To The Moon stamp and partially embossed it in gold, to achieve this I masked off the portion I wanted gold and stamped the rest in black and the I did the opposite and embossed in gold.
