Hello TJ Friends~
Kathie McGuire here on your stamping weekend with a Tri Shutter Christmas card. This technique can be found on the Fancy Folds and Motion CD. 40 of my christmas cards this year were Tri Shutter cards. Although I've been making Tri Shutters for a long time, I had never made so many for Christmas cards. Hands down, I never received so many wonderful calls and emails with comments about the cards. I'll be sharing a lot of them here with you over the next several months, so be sure to revisit me here often!
The majority of the panels are covered with purchased background papers. The long, thin center panel(teal colored holly) is metal from Add A Little Dazzle along with the small panels which are silver with a magenta design. I embossed both metal panels with a Cuttlebug folder and then used a sanding block to remove the color. Metal is so much fun to work with!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Kathie

Pencil-Over-Marker

HI TJ friends. Happy Saturday!! Kathie McGuire here to show you an old/favorite technique of mine.
Today's card is the ever popular Tri Shutter card that I can't seem to stop making!! I adore the folds and cuts which give me so many little pallettes to display some of my favorite TJ techniques.
The featured technique today is Pencil-Over-Marker, an old favorite of mine from the 2/05 newsletter. I thought it was the perfect technqiue to use on the rose images.
I hope you're off to a great weekend. And remember, make a good weekend even better--go stamp something!!
Stamp Hugs,
Kathie McGuire
