The Pile of Skulls Have Eyes | HUGE Halloween Sale | Halloween Card

Happy Saturday y'all.  Design Team Member Michael here with another Halloween card.  This is such an easy card to make.  Waiting for the googly eyes to dry is the hardest part.  And they are optional.  Don't like em?  Don't use em!

If you want to make this card, this is what I did:

  • I made a top folding A2 card base using black cardstock.
  • I went through my stash of Halloween papers until I found one that I felt paired well with my stamped image.  I die-cut a part of it using a 4.25" x 5.5" stitched rectangle die from Pink & Main and then I adhered it to my card front.
  • I stamped Pile of Skulls on white cardstock, die-cut it using a 3.75" x 5" stitched rectangle die from Pink & Main, and adhered a piece of black fun foam to the back, and then to the card front.
  • Then I adhered small googly eyes to each of the skulls.
  • Lastly, I die-cut a piece of white cardstock using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die, stamped Wicked Halloween in the center, and then adhered this to the inside of my card.

Done!

If you are interested, I have a more detailed step-by-step with photos on my personal blog post HERE.

Have A Wicked Halloween in the Cemetery

Hello everyone and welcome to another Saturday morning card idea with Design Team Member - Michael.  Today I have a fast and easy Halloween card for you that uses Graveyard Background and Wicked Halloween, although any Halloween sentiment would work as well.

  • I made a top-folding A2 card using black cardstock.
  • I stamped the Graveyard Background background stamp on white cardstock using Onyx Black Versafine Ink, and heat embossed it using clear embossing powder.
  • I secured it to my craft mat with washi tape and added the clouds using a cloud stencil, a blending brush, and Lost Shadow Distress Ink.
  • Then I went back and did the same thing using Dusty Concord Distress Ink to give a more spooky cloud background.
  • I stamped Wicked Halloween in the center using Onyx Black Versafine Ink and heat embossed it using clear embossing powder.
  • I adhered a piece of black fun foam to the back, then to a piece of gray(ish) cardstock, and then to my card front.
Done. You can make this card in less than 10 minutes - once you gather all your materials.  If you want a more detailed step-by-step with photos, head over to my personal blog - HERE.

Happy Hump Day! Today I am showcasing the wonderful Halloween Scene, set of 12. There are endless possibilities as to what you can do with this set. AND you can use it with so many other TJ sets, too. The Happy Halloween and the Bare Tree Duo are from previous releases.
This was so simple to put together. I used a light lavender base and stamped the Bare Tree Duo in black and then the house, bats and crosses/tombstones in black, as well. I die cut the sentiment with a stitched rectangle and popped it up on dimensionals. When gluing the lavender and black mat base to white card stock, I did an oops and got black on the edge...so I used a Kleenex and added more black for a distressed look! There is always an answer.
I think Technique Junkies has the best Halloween stamps available....fun to mix and match. Go check them all out here and use my code TJ10Pam at checkout!

Cheers,

Pam
