Glitter ribbons

Ann Clack here with a couple of glitter ribbons cards.  The pink and blue one was for my granddaughter who turned 11.  She LOVED all the sparkle.  It matched her new room to boot!

The blue and white one was made during at our FSF group.  Friends Stamp Friday seems to have become a regular occurrence her the last couple of months.  I originally invited one friend to come and stamp...then it became two........then three.  Then four!  At least it makes me get the house cleaned.    The cupcakes on both cards are removable.  You can place them on a mirror, votive, or anything smooth and non-porous.

A Morphed Tri-Cut Dies Christmas Card by Judy Jackson

I hope you are having a lovely day!  Is it a crafty day?  This is Judy Jackson posting another Christmas card!

This is a current technique from the August/September TJ newsletter.   I had some minor surgery and am unable to go downstairs just yet to my stamp room. Hopefully, I can do that tomorrow!  The focal image is from Stampin' Up and the Scripture is from Stampin' Up. I am not sure about the other verse.  I colored the little shepherd, lambs, the buildings, the star, and the grass with my Copics. I sponged the sky and  used a clear glitter pen on the star.    Then I spritzed the card from with a light glimmer mist.

Have you started on Christmas cards?  How many do you make?  I make over 100 every year so I need to get started early!

Chevron for Club Scrap Blog Hop

Hetty here and today being part of the Club Scrap

Take Wing Blog Hop with a Technique Junkies card.

As the chevron design is so popular at the moment,

we of course had to share a tutorial about this

and you find it in the in the

April/May 2013 newsletter.

For this card I used Club Scrap Take Wing papers (September '13)

and stamps (sentiment and birds). 

The background is done with a Great Outdoor

stencil (by Club Scrap) and green distress ink.

Hope you take another look at this tutorial, it is just

one of those quick and easy ones.

Misted Stencils

What day is it?  What day is it?  It's Hump Dayyyyy..woot woot.  Don't you love that commercial?  Makes me laugh right out loud.

Tricia here today with a new card.  I made this card for my uncle's birthday.  He loves old cards and my mom wanted a card for him.  I used a new time stencil that I bought as I thought it would go great behind this sweet old car from Fred She Said.  I love coloring this truck like it's rusty.

Ruff Day?

Hello friends. Beth Norman here with this week's technique--Simply Framed.  At first I was intimidated by this technique, but I quickly learned how easily it goes together.  I love how this stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Collection, pulled together so nicely.   There just isn't enough dog stamp sets out there, is there?

Well, the fall weather is upon us here in Southern Ontario, Canada, which makes me hibernate in my stamp room.  I hope you're able to do the same.  Let's see what you can do with this technique too.

Two Cards using Embossed Alcohol Inks by Judy Jackson

Hello from Judy Jackson!  This is such a fun technique.  I love embossing folders and alcohol inks.   And this technique uses BOTH!  But the looks you get are vastly different.  Is your thinking process intrigued?  Well this technique is in the current newsletter! 

When I unmounted my wood mounted rubber stamps I tried to keep track of the stamp company for each stamp. Well here are two stamps and I do not know who made them.  do you?  Please let me know.

Try that Technique - Simple Frames

Good Morning Junkies,

Tricia here and it's that time again and you are in for a treat.  This quick and easy technique is so versatile you just have to play along.  What a great technique to use to get a lot of cards done in a short amount of time.

I used stamps from Mark's Finest Papers.  I can't get over how easy this was to do and how lovely the results.  I can see me using this technique more and more.
