Try That Technique - Reversed Backgrounds

Hi Junkies, Tricia here with another try that technique.  I have started my Christmas cards and thought why not use this weeks technique which is Reversed Backgrounds from this months newsletter.  Another fun and easy technique.

The background stamp is from Impression Obsession, the sentiment is from Stampin Up!.  I used my spellbinders snowflake and fussy trimmed the black background.  I added some dimensional pearls in blue and a ribbon from Stampin Up!.

Hope you will join us this week!

Have a crafty day!

Polished Metal

Today I am sharing a card I made with a digi image from Make It Crafty.  It allows me to explore my steampunk obsession right now.   I colored the image with my copics.  I used another background technique that I learned from my new class over at Color Me Creative Classroom.  The background is done with the Technique Junkie newsletter called Polished Metal.

Thanks for stopping by today!

A Little Something for a Little Someone

Hello Junkies.  Beth Norman here with a Glittery Washi Window shower card for you.  I enclosed this card with my daughter's wedding shower gift in August.  I just love how it turned out.  The Impression Obsession heart die was large enough to show lots of Washi Tape and still allowed me to place a Stampn Up sentiment in the center without hiding this technique.  Also, my bird die is from Impression Obsession, one of our sponsors.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Don't forget to check out what the rest of the design team has for you this week.

Try That Technique - Spotlight 2

Tricia here with this weeks Try That Technique - Spotlight 2.  My card features a digital stamp from Fred She Said colored with copics.  I used some burlap to create a textured background behind the roses.

This is a really fun and easy technique.  Won't you join us this week?

Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty Sunday!

Glitter ribbons

Ann Clack here with a couple of glitter ribbons cards.  The pink and blue one was for my granddaughter who turned 11.  She LOVED all the sparkle.  It matched her new room to boot!

The blue and white one was made during at our FSF group.  Friends Stamp Friday seems to have become a regular occurrence her the last couple of months.  I originally invited one friend to come and stamp...then it became two........then three.  Then four!  At least it makes me get the house cleaned.    The cupcakes on both cards are removable.  You can place them on a mirror, votive, or anything smooth and non-porous.

Do any of your stamping activities help you get the housework done?
