Looking for quick and easy Christmas card ideas?

Here are the how to's:

1. Using the MISTI, stamp the Scratched Tree stamp with Outremer (Ultramarine) ink on white cardstock. I left the white by sponging the ink onto the top section where I wanted it and then sponging the edge of the panel with the same ink. 

2. Stamp Season's Greetings Sentiment with Réglisse (Licorice) ink.

3. Add White Nuvo drops to the star and over the sentiment.

Feliz Naughty-Dog

Hey TJ Peeps! Hope you all enjoyed the new release projects shared yesterday by the Design Team. I stopped by today to share a cute card I made with a couple of those sets released yesterday! With three adorable pooches and two happy sentiments, this set of five stamps is sure to please any pet lover in the crowd. Feliz Naughty-Dog (SS113) is such a fun set. This is what I created...

I used one of the sentiment stamps from the Victorian Greetings (JT030) set of six. This set has some great holiday greetings. Here is what is included in the two sets:

To create this fun card, I started with a green A2 card base. To that I added a ribbon-wrapped piece of decorative paper that was edged with a Nuvo Glitter Marker. I stamped the image and sentiment on a piece of white CS, and colored it in with Derwent Inktense pencils. To add a little sparkle, I added some detail with Kaisercraft Glitter Gel Pens. I trimmed and attached the piece to a die cut panel and added it to the card using foam tape. I added a bow to the ribbon to finish off the card.

Wedding Thank You

Wouldn't a set of these make a wonderful wedding gift?

Here are the how to's:

1. Using the MISTI, stamp the Bride with Bouquet in grey ink.
2. Color the bouquet. 
3. Paint an area the size of your sentiment with pink acrylic paint.
 4. Spray back of stencil (A Colorful Life Designs - Many Marvelous Mask Deckle Rectangle) with Pixie Spray.

5. Put the mask over the image and lightly inner sponge edge with grey ink. 

6. Using the MISTI, stamp  Thank you from Bridal Thank You (set of 7) with black ink.
7, Add white Nuvo Drops to the necklace and around sentiment.

Hearts Like Dogs

Good morning, Junkies!  It's Holly posting today.  Did you see this adorable puppy in this month's release?  I love puppies so I just HAD to have this stamp, which is called Hearts Like Dogs.  I stamped it with a gray ink, and then I stamped it again onto a sticky note.  After I cut out the dog on the sticky note, I used it as a mask by sticking it down over my original stamped image.  Then I placed the Circle Mosaic stencil over the masked image and very lightly brushed some gray ink around the sides and the top of the dog.  When I was satisfied with the stenciling, I removed the stencil and the mask and adhered the stamped/stenciled piece to a gray card base.

Did you see the new ink blending brushes in the Technique Junkies store?  They are super soft and they work beautifully to apply ink over stencils.  You can see how my stenciled mosaic fades out on my card.  Those brushes are magical!!

Here are the how to's:

1. Spray back of stencil (A Colorful Life Designs Mosiac Sun) with Pixie Spray.

2. Stencil background with Izink Dye inks (Grenadine and Aurore)

3. Using the MISTI, stamp Put on the Hat with 

4. Using a small paint brush add Cuivre (Copper) Aladine IZINK Diamond Glitter Paint to hat band.
