Small Steps

Happy Tuesday!

I do love big sentiment stamps.
My card uses a fun new set caller Modern Encouragements (set of 4). I made a really easy background using a stencil (Tree Ring from A Colorful Life Designs) and Shimmering Bliss sprays (Mardi Gras and Harvest Sunset). I stamped the sentiment on top with black ink.

All of the January 2020 New Release stamps are 15% off through January 8th!
We can all use a little bargain, right? No codes needed, just put them in your
shopping cart and the discount will be applied at checkout.

Use code TJ10Jeanne for an additional 10% off
That's 25% off the new release until January 8th!

Hope you enjoyed my project!

A Girl Should Be ---

Sometimes  you find a stamp that has a verse with it, and you find another word stamps that would also fit that stamp perfectly.  That is how I felt with the two stamps for this card.

I liked the little girl in Happy On and Who and What She Wants go together very well.

I used Copic markers to color the little girl. And I sponged the grass and sky.  I used a craft knife and slit the card stock by her sleeve to thread and tie the ribbon.  The background is designer paper.

The greeting is a new January release and is on sale automatically 15% off through January 8.
Then you can my personal Design Team coupon code TJ10Judy and get another 10% off.

Have a wonderful, marvelous day, and get inky!

Diet Wagon

Happy New Year, Junkies!  It's Holly posting today, and I'm sharing this fun card using the new Diet Wagon stamp from the January 2020 release.  Don't we all make that New Year's resolution to stick to a certain diet and then by day 2, we're over it??  LOL

I decided to give this diet wagon the ol' heave ho with a burned edges look.  The fire and the wagon were quickly watercolored and I sponged some Antique Linen distress ink all over the piece.  On the edges, I dragged Walnut Stain distress ink and then streaked it here and there.  After I distressed the edges with a distress tool, I adhered this to a dark brown card base.

All of the new January 2020 release stamps are 15% off through January 8.  You can use my code, TJ10Holly, for an additional 10% off for a total of 25% off the new release stamps.  Have fun!

Technique Junkies New Release "I HATE LOSING"

I LOVE being on the Technique Junkies Design Team! I'm allowed complete artistic freedom with the stamps. Which is a good thing because I'm really NOT a good card maker. At ALL.

Nope. I'm not kidding. Brain doesn't work that way, Chicas.

But I CAN bring them to life in my own way. Take my LOL Girrrl up there. She's fabulous! She's also FREE. That's right...she's an old ad image and although many have taken her and put them into collage sheets and sell them, all of these images are free. So head to google images and have at it!

Believe it or not, I have a quite a demand for these. They're refrigerator magnets, as you can see by the...well, by the magnet.

I take a small tin can. An Altoid can, in this instance. Using matte Mod Podge, I cover it with paper. Then, I use pearls, rhinestones to hide the rough edges. But use trim or fabric or whatever! Touch up your image with Stickles, use some mounting tape, cut your sentiment to fit and put in the CAKE! Or wine bottle. Or whatever.

In this case, I used Technique Junkies New Release Sentiment "I Hate Losing"

FORTUNATELY FOR YOU PEOPLE, Technique Junkies is offering 15% off their New Releases until the 8th!!

And YOU don't have to do anything!!! Just sit there and look pretty! And that 15% will drop right into your basket.

But the BEST part???

ME, of course!!!

That's right! Just type TJ10Carmen and you'll get an EXTRA 10% off that 15% purchase! AND, you can ALSO use my 10% off on your regular purchases as well!

So take advantage while you can!!!
