Free Speech

I used Faces of Diversity  and Acceptance Respect, Peace.   I stamped the image in my stamping platform and then spritzed the image with several shades of Shimmering Bliss.    I did the same for the small panel with the verse.

If you want to see them all here they are!  And if you just "Gotta have them all!"  You can do that too at a 25% discount making it $99 for EVERYTHING!!! Whoo hoo! The Coffee beans and the champagne flutes are stencils.

Snowy New Year Birches

Good morning, Junkies!  It's Holly posting today, and I'm sharing this snowy birch tree card as we near the end of this crazy year.  We all certainly hope the new year will bring new hope for us all so we can resume activities that we abandoned in the wake of the COVID crisis.  Thankfully stamping and cardmaking is something we can do in the safety of our own homes, and I've been stamping up a storm this year.

On this card, I placed the Falling Snow stencil from A Colorful Life Designs on some purple cardstock and sponged some white pigment ink over the stencil.  The Birch Tree Border was stamped with a gray ink onto white cardstock, cut out, and glued to the snowy background.  I stamped the New Year New Hope with the white pigment ink and embossed it with white embossing powder.

Here's hoping 2021 is much better and that you all stay safe and healthy this holiday season.

New November Release Fat Pants Cards

Do you send Thanksgiving cards?  I have always sent a few but this year I am sending a lot more.  So when I saw the new November release Fat Pants I knew I had to have it.  My favorite cards to make are ones which are funny and Fat Pants makes me smile each time I see it.  Because let's face it, we all have fat pants or as I like to call them "comfortable" pants.  The card above was a fun one to make.  I cut a turkey with my Silhouette Cameo which has "turkey time" cut out.  White cardstock and several fall colors of alcohol markers were swiped across it.  This created a pretty background paper.  I put it behind the turkey die cut and also stamped Fat Pants on another piece.  I put it on a slimline base and added a few foam leaves.

I heat embossed Fat Pants with brown embossing powder on my second card.  It was put in the center of a square card which I had cut with the Silhouette Cameo.  I added a few sequins and had another Thanksgiving card to add to my stash.

On my last card, I heat embossed Fat Pants with orange embossing powder.  I put it in the center of a card base with a dry embossed die cut plus label tape sentiments and washi tape.  Another fun card I can't wait to mail to friends to celebrate Thanksgiving (which is also know as "gobble until you wobble day" at my house).  Thanks for checking out my Fat Pants cards and don't forget to use the coupon below to get a discount when you shop at Technique Junkies.

Happy Hannukah from Technique Junkies

I was on the telephone with a customer a couple of months ago, and our conversation inspired me to create a few Hanukkah and Jewish themed images. This Happy Hanukkah Set, along with the Judaica stamp, were the result of that conversation. There are two sentiments here -- which I thought would be perfect for the inside and outside of a card:

These stamps, along with all of the November 2020 new releases, are 15% off through November 8th, too. Don't miss the Judaica background - it pairs beautifully with this set:

To create my card, I used the Herringbone Washi tape technique to create the background. If you would like to learn how to make this background, you can find the tutorial here (published previously):

Enjoy!

Warmest Holiday Wishes

Greetings!  Lynda Joy here, back with another card from the November release.  This card features a new background stamp, and some older stamps, as well.

Technique Junkies stamps:

How I made it:
  • On patterned paper, I stamped the Coffee Stain image, and attached it to a peach panel, then onto a cream A2 card front.
  • I cut two tag dies, distressed them, and stamped the Perfect Blend image on one, and the verse from the Gnome For Christmas set on the other.
  • I used Tombow markers to color the images.
  • I added ribbon and twine to the tags, and added them to the card front with foam tape for added dimension.
I had fun creating this card.  That Coffee Stain background will be handy for future coffee themed cards and projects.  I stamped it here onto some burlap printed patterned paper.

You can find more of my cards from this release on my blog, PaperArtsCafe, HERE.

You have until November 8th for the 15% discount off new release stamps.  And,
don't forget my code, TJ10Lynda, for an additional 10% off!

Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,

Masculine Christmas Card

Hello fellow stampers.  Technique Junkies just had a new release.  I love this stamp so much, particularly because it makes a great masculine Christmas card.  I know a few men who would love to receive this card.

If you have not ordered from the new release yet, there is still time to get up to 25% off of the November new release.  You can check out all the new stamps here.  My card uses Woodland Wonders and Santa Mail set of 2 (not a new release).  New release stamps are automatically discounted, and if you add my discount code TJ10Beth, an additional 10% is applied.

Steps to make this card

  1. Stamp Woodland Wonders onto plaid background with VersaMark and sprinkle white embossing powder and heat set.
  2. Your card is ready to be cut to size and decorated at this stage.  Cut newly created background to3 3/4″ x 5″.  If you have a die-cut like I have then this is the time to use it.
  3. Mat your Woodland Wonders background with black, cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″.
  4. Using black ink, stamp out Santa Mail Set of 2.  Cut the image with a circle punch or die cut.  Die cut some greenery.
  5. Place your Santa Mail Set of 2 on the left hand corner and add some greenery underneath. Using a pop dot for your circle really adds dimension.

Thanks for stopping by.  Get creative!
