Today I am featuring Technique Junkies #SD1087 Born to Garden and #S960 In the Meadow stamps.

I started off by stamping the In the Meadow stamp on to some 80lb white cardstock in the color Pink Peony Ranger Archival ink.  I trimmed it down to 4 inches wide and trimmed off the bottom so there was about 3 1/2 inches. I glued that down to another piece of white cardstock 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 on the top half. I trimmed some roses cardstock from my stash down to 4 inches wide then glued it on to the bottom then trimmed everything to fit 4 x 5 1/4.  I grunged up the whole thing with Vintage Photo ink then sprayed with a little water and some Shimmering Bliss spray in Iridescent and set it aside to dry.

Next, I stamped out the Born to Garden on a piece of 120lb white cardstock also in the Pink Peony. I set that aside then stamped just the garden part in Versafine Clair Acorn then heat embossed with clear embossing powder then fussy cut and edged the garden plank.  I cut out the feature phrase with a die from my stash and then lightly bordered it with the Vintage Photo ink.

Next, I used some double sided tape to stick the sari ribbon down and then popped the panel up onto a Kraft card base with some foam tape.  I then used more foam tape to pop up the phrase in the middle of the card and also some more foam tape to pop up the garden plank.  I finished it off with 3 little pearls.

Blooming Wildflowers

Hello!  Tracy Shultz, the Hopeful Crafter, here with a bright and beautiful card today! I paired the gorgeous new stamp Blooming Wildflowers with a beautiful scripty sentiment from the previously released In Full Bloom Sentiments, Set of 6 available at: https://techniquejunkies.com/  Save 10% off your order with my coupon code: TJ10Tracy

To start, I heat embossed the beautiful Blooming Wildflowers background stamp with black embossing powder. I also heat embossed the "Life Life in full Bloom" sentiment with black embossing powder. I then used Catherine Pooler inks to ink blend the embossed panels. Technique Junkies has a large selection of Catherine Pooler inks: https://techniquejunkies.com/catherine-pooler-ink/?sort=featured&page=2  I used the following colors (from top to bottom): Chiffon, Catching Rays and Pucker Up.  You can also use: Limoncello, Tiki Torch and Rouge to get a similar effect (yellow, orange and pink inks). Next I used my favorite stitched rectangle dies to die cut the ink blended background and the ink blended sentiment. I adhered the background panel to a black A2 card base. I used a stitched rectangle die again to create a black mat and placed that behind the sentiment. I adhered the sentiment and the mat to the background and the card is ready to go out in the mail! In case you missed the new release (April 2022), here is a photo:

Hope in the Meadow

Good morning!  It's Holly posting today.  Today I'm sharing a card I created with the new In the Meadow stamp from Technique Junkies.  This gorgeous floral stamp is so fine and delicate and perfect for ink-blended backgrounds.  That's what I've done here on this card.  I used the Colorful Blending Brushes and several different colors of inks to blend a soft dreamy background onto some white cardstock.  I stamped the In the Meadow with black ink onto my ink-blended background, trimmed it down, and added a die cut scallop frame around that.  Then I stamped the "Hope" sentiment from the Dream Hope Wish Wonder set and trimmed it down, added some foam tape to the back and adhered it to my landscape.  This landscape scene was affixed to a white card base.

Please feel free to use this code, TJ10Holly, to save 10% off your order when you shop at Technique Junkies.  You can fill up your cart with this gorgeous In the Meadow stamp, the beautiful Blooming Wildflowers background stamp (another favorite), some sentiments, the brushes, and some colorful Catherine Pooler ink pads.  You'll be all set to create some gorgeous cards!  Have a great day!

TJ Inkspirations: Iced Corner Blooms

Translucent or Opaque!
This beautiful Corner Bloom stencil is so beautifully inspirational, I had to make TWO cards! Today I paired this beautiful stencil with the new Aladine IZINK Ice colors with amazing results.

I have 5 new colors of ICE - plus a refresh of our in-house supply of the other colors, and I can't wait until you see them used in the video. Out of the 5 new colors, 3 are Opaque and 2 are Translucent -- all are gorgeous.

We have 3 kits today - one for each color grouping, and one that has all of the colors used on both cards in the video. I hope you love these as much as I do! Scroll past the kits to see the video.

All of the pieces, parts and kits may be found HERE.

Blooming Wildflowers

Hello friends!

I'm here today to share two cards that I made, using a beautiful new stamp, Blooming Wildflowers, from the April Release.

I made each card a bit different, to show how versatile these background stamps can be.

Here's my first card:

For this card, the image was stamped and colored with alcohol markers. I then used some Dolphin Cove and Thulian Pink Shimmering bliss over top of entire image. The panel was adhered to a blue card base. The sentiment, from the Four Little Sentiments set, was stamped with white ink onto a scrap of the blue cardstock used for the base, and adhered to the card front with dimensional dots.

And here's card number two:

For this card, the image was colored with watercolor markers, spritzed, and stamped. I used my stamp positioner, in case I needed to go over any of the coloring. I was able to get 2 card fronts from one panel. The second panel is a bit smaller, but will be matted on the sides to 'seem' bigger! The sentiment, A Good Friend, was stamped over top of a smooshed panel that I made with the colors from the focal panel. The frame was one that I found at our big box store a few years ago.

A Wisteria Miss You

Hi! Pam here on the blog today and I am showcasing the new release, Wisteria Background and my sentiment is from Four Little Sentiments. I stamped the image onto watercolor paper and then watercolored the image. Once dry, I ran through the brick embossing folder. I distressed the red mat layer under image.

In the meadow with markers

Our In the Meadow stamp is such a lovely, fine stamp for so many types of cards. It can be used as a silhouette, but today I used it with just a little color, tracing some of the lines with a marker after stamping it in Black Jack Catherine Pooler Ink. The sentiment is from the Inside Out: Size Matters sentiment stamp. Although the matching stamp is snarky - this is perfect the way it is.
