Using some printed vellum folded over my cardstock

then added the saying on - makes for a quick card when you need one

Nature Heals

 

I don't know about you, but a good walk in the great outdoors helps soothe my soul when I a worried, hurt, or anxious. Today's card totally represents that to me!
 I used the Nature Heals sentiment with the Tree Branch Silhouette Stamp and the bird from the Every Bird stamp set. Before stamping any of it, I inked the Cloud Edger Stencil from ACLD.

Ink Blended Thistle Stamp

 A little blended ink behind our beautiful Thistle Border stamp is all you need to create a stunning card! The sentiment is from the Peace and Comfort set, making this card a great Sympathy, Get Well, or Encouragement card. The stamps may be found here:

Another favorite stamp from the May 2023 release is Never Walk Alone. I have many amazing friends and love to send cards to let them know how important they are to me. This new stamp creates beautiful cards and you can get many different looks, depending on the paper and cardstock you use.

 

• I stamped the Never Walk Alone  image with dark blue ink onto a piece of sunset patterned paper. I could not believe just how perfectly the stamped image fit into that paper !!
• 2 sizes of golden rhinestones were placed around the sun.
• The completed panel was adhered to a bright yellow card base to continue the sun theme.

Here are a few more examples using the Never Walk Alone stamp. 

• I used zig-zag design circle punches for these three cards. 

• The paper I stamped this one on reminded me of the colors of a sunset.

• I added several pale green rhinestones to this stamped image.

This stamp can create so many different looks. I know that I will use it often  for cards to send to my friends. Sympathy cards can be challenging to create but this stamp could also be used to let someone know that you are thinking of them  at a time of loss.

The Golden Girl ~ Betty White

Today I’m showcasing the new Betty White stamp set. Wasn’t Betty White wonderful? It seemed like she’d live forever with her career spanning over 6 decades. I’m sure we’ll be watching her sitcoms for years to come.  Lucky us! She had the happiest smile and funniest quotes.

I wanted to use several of her quotes on this bookmark so I made it large. Another idea is to create a slimline card. There’s plenty of room on them for lots of stamping!
