Let's Explore!

 Just looking at this card makes me feel like I've beaten the summer heat! The cool mountains are calling me. I wish I had an RV to hop into to make the adventure happen! The Explore focal image stamp was layered over the Mountain Edger 2 Stencil - which I attempted to make a little cartoonish. My Loyal Friend

 These two stamps are so perfectly paired, don't you think? If you have a loyal dog, you certainly understand having your furbaby beside you - and how wonderful that feels. To make this card, I simply stamped the Loyal Friend stamp with sand castle ink, then overstamped it with the Look Beside You sentiment. You may find the stamps here:

Got Creativity?!

Hey Crafty Friends - 

There are so many different modes of creativity. What gets your creative juices flowing? When it comes to card making looking at stamps and envisioning a fun way to use them gets my creative wheels spinning. When I saw the Creative Background stamp the first thing I thought about was creating cards to send to my crafty friends. 

I used a die cut with scalloped edges for my mat and placed it on a piece of colorful patterned paper. I stamped the Creative Background stamp and used one of the splashes from the Paint Splashes stamp set strategically on the mat in three CTMH ink colors. 

I colored the images using Spectrum Noir Tri Blend markers and added the "Sending You A Smile" sentiment from the Simple Sentiments stamp set.

A Delightfully Creative Stamp Combination! Today we celebrate creatvity! The three Stamps used today pair perfectly together in a colorful, happy way. I used jewel-toned inks in my example; try experimenting with other colors for other colorful results. The card in the video tutorial below is just stamps and ink. No die cuts, no stencils, just the materials we love to use the most. I have a two kits for you today, too, since I offered the Paint Splashes in a Kit just a couple of weeks ago, giving anyone who purchased that kit a chance to save money without having to repurchase the Splashes. I'll Be There

Deb here with my latest post . I made this card for a friend who is having a rough time right now. She has been there for me when I've needed a night of girl talk, so I'm returning the favor with this card. I used 2 of the new August Release stamps - Look Beside You & Little Paint Stroke . These are only 2 of the fabulous new stamps from Technique Junkies .

• The Look Beside You image was stamped on white cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Dew Drop ink .
• I highlighted the Look Back, Look Ahead and Beside You words with  the Little Paint Stroke stamp. I used Angel Pink, Summer Sky and Dandelion inks.
• I stamped the Look Beside You image again over the paint strokes to make sure the black was crisp. I used my MISTI to stamp this image, but the paint strokes were stamped with an acrylic block for perfect positioning .
• A puffy sticker of a pair of glasses  was placed at the top of the completed stamped image.
• A red puffy heart was placed at the bottom of the stamped panel .
• I adhered the completed stamped panel to a  folded sheet of wood patterned 6x6 paper for a mini slimline card.

I hope that you like this card as much as I do.  It's a perfect stamp for a Thinking of You card, a Friendship card or even for a Sympathy card . It's a great stamp to add to your stash.
