Bring in the New Year with a Champagne Toast and Lots of Glitter

Hello everyone! It's Design Team Member Michael here with a very cool idea for a New Year's card. Today is December 23rd and my Christmas card making is done for 2023. Time to ring in 2024. Today I have a card that will awe your friends and family. A B&W New Year's Card (very chic) - using the Champagne Toast stamp and only black and white glittered fun foam. No coloring!

I started making a top-folding A2 card base with white cardstock.
I cut a piece of black and a piece of white glittered fun foam, 4" x 8.5", applied 2" wide double-sided tape to the back, and then cut them into 1" strips.
Starting with a strip of the black glittered cardstock, I removed part of the tape backing, adhered it to the card front on an angle, and trimmed away the excess.
Then I adhered a strip of the white glittered cardstock on each side of the black. Again, trim away any excess.
Continue doing this until the card front is covered.

I stamped Champagne Toast on white cardstock, die-cut it using a stitched rectangle die, and adhered it to a piece of regular, non-glittered fun foam.
For my sentiment, using a scrap piece of the black glittered fun foam, I die-cut a Happy New Year die from Elizabeth Craft Designs, that I had in my stash, and adhered it to the card front across the stems of the champagne glasses.
Lastly, I adhered some crystals to the bottom of the champagne glasses for even more shimmer and shine.

Neptune's Mond wishing upon a star

Only 5 days until Christmas!!!

Goodness, where has the time gone?

This morning I am sharing a creation done with Neptune's Mond and Wish Upon a Star. I kept it monochromatic using almost amethyst and a deep purple for Neptune. I also used a compass stencil and a compass embossing folder. A bit of distressed organza, sheer ribbon and it's complete! Find all the crafty goodness here and use my code TJ10Pam at checkout!

Creativity Challenge ~ Winter Weather

Hello TJ Friends!

Today’s card was designed for the “Winter Weather” creativity challenge.

I hope you’ll agree …I kept this one simple.

I used one rubber stamp - Fir forest and stamped it along the bottom of a light blue card then layered it on a slightly larger piece of black.

To make the snow along the bottom I used a mixed media modeling paste called Cloud whip.

Next I randomly put dots of glue on the trees and sky then sprinkled with a glitter mix called winter storm.

I finished it with the die cut words and mounted this on a blue glitter card base.

I hope this inspires you to take another look at your tree rubber stamps. They are a wonderful addition to your stamp collection because of the versatility they have.

Split Panel Card Cutting Instructions:

Base 5 1/2 x 5 3/4 Score at 4 1/4 on the 5 3/4 side (Navy Blue)

Inside Card Mat 4 x 5 1/4 (Vanilla)

Base Second Panel 1 1/2 x 5 1/2 (Navy Blue)

Panel Layer 1 1/4 x 5 1/4 (Gold) (2)

Pattern Paper Layer 1 x 5 (2)

Vanilla Card Stock (for sentiment) - Rectangle Die

Navy Blue Card Stock - Scalloped Edges Die

Did you notice the paper piecing and embossing done on her shirt. Super cool technique.
