Rainy Day Friends

Hello.  It's Beth Norman-Roberts here with a fun card for you using Rainy Day Friends.  You can get this stamp, and any other product by using TJ10Beth.

I paper pieced the umbrella and coloured my image with Prismacolor colored pencils.  Next, I painted Twinkling H20's to add some shading.

I hope you are enjoying a sunny week.  Temperatures here in southern Ontario, Canada, are getting cooler.  I love the fall.  Bringing out sweaters is so cozy.

Have a super week.

First, Coffee

Hello Everyone!
Today's card uses one of those images that puts a smile on your face, every time you see it!
I could not resist this humorous feline with his cup of joe.  This stamp, First Coffee, is one of the September releases.  Gotta love the eyes!  You can pick him up at the Technique Junkies store for 10% off with code TJ10LeeAnn.
I would also like to take this time to thank Pat and the whole TJ team for their kindness and welcoming me to the team 9 months ago.  As we all know, life happens, and with alot going on in life, it is time for me to say good bye.  This is my last post to the TJ blog.  Going out with a bang with this hilarious image!

The cat is simply stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics.  I then fussy cut him out.  My background is this fun dotty die cut panel on a wonderful teal blue card base.
I masked the cat off and stamped the sentiment onto vellum and heat embossed with black embossing powder.  I framed the sentiment and image with a stitched circle die cut.
That's it!

Pretty easy!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope I have inspired you to get out your craft supplies!

Thanks for visiting today and thank you for all of your encouragement over the last 9 months.  Hope to see you over on my blog, greytpapercrafts.blogspot.com.

Happy stamping!

Boo Convention

Happy Saturday!
It's Ceal her with a couple of halloween cards featuring this super cute ghost stamp Boo Convention from the September release

I also have a coupon you can use on your entire order to save 10%  excluding new releases and clearance to help you out a bit, the code is TJ10Ceal just key that n out the checkout.

To create the first card I simply stamped the image in black, using the MISTI just in case I needed to over stamp. I partially stamped it again so I could cut out a couple of ghost to go on the sentient strip. For the greeting I stamped Happy halloween in Versamark ink and embossed it in white on a black strip to stand out.

To create the second card I stamped the entire image (again using this MISTI in case I needed to over stamp) with Versamark and embossed it in white and then blended some Gia K ink over the entire background. As the greeting  added  a boo die cut.

TJ Inkspirations: Shimmery Glimmery Layered Leaf Stencils

am a little obsessed with leaf images - stamps, stencils, you name it, I love it.  When I saw these new pretty little leaf stencils from A Colorful Life Designs, I knew I wanted to create a layered look with them.  Using the Technique Junkies Shimmering Bliss sprays with Nuvo Glimmer Paste was a perfect way to create those layers.

Today's tutorial shows you how to shimmer and shimmer your way to pretty layered leaves.

Here are some links you might like to pick up your favorite colors:

First Coffee Cat

I just love this Technique Junkies cat with coffee!  Those eyes!  With his fishy newspaper and steaming coffee, and that night cap, well, he just makes me smile!  I guess it's because I can relate to that look in the morning.
I used these stamps and supplies to make my card:
Technique Junkies First Coffee stamp
Technique Junkies Bunch of Beans stamp
Technique Junkies Harvest Sunset Shimmering Bliss spray

I stamped the Bunch of Beans stamp onto a kraft card stock panel, using distress ink, then added it to a black A2 card front.  I added a strip of black card stock, and a strip of kraft card stock, which I had sprayed with the Harvest Sunset Shimmering Bliss, onto the strip.

For the main image panel, I stamped the First Coffee stamp onto a kraft card stock panel, and trimmed it to size.  I colored it with Polychromos colored pencils, and the newspaper, mug, and night cap with Harvest Sunset Shimmering Bliss spray.  I love the shimmery look!
I attached the cat panel with foam tape for dimension.  I detached the verse from the stamp, and used it separately to stamp the verse in two sections, then spritzed some Shimmering Mist onto them.  I used a punch on them, and added them with foam tape.

I hope you've had a chance to hop along with the Design Team for this fabulous release.   If you haven't placed your order, and want 10% off your entire purchase at the Technique Junkies store, be sure to use my code TJ10Lynda at the checkout, and your discount will be applied.
Thanks for visiting.

Blessings,

A Trio of Shells

To create this card, I used several Technique Junkies stamps: French TextSeashells, and Seagrass. I stamped French Text on the background, and then the Seagrass on top of it in beige ink. Then, on second piece of white paper, I stamped French Text again, and stamped three of the sea shells in teal ink, leaving space so I could cut them out in small squares. Then I punched out a mat a tiny bit bigger. I affixed the squares in to a strip of burlap ribbon, starting with the middle square, and stamped an additional shell on the card, over the seagrass. The verse is heat-embossed. I added a dot of Nuvo glitter drops in the top right corner of each shell square.

Saving money when you shop is fun, and you can save 10% off your order in the Technique Junkies web store when you check out with the code TJ10Judy.

Have a beachy day and get inky!
